Diners Drive-Ins and Dives
Friday Date NIght at Blue Koi! We got there a little early, maybe 5:30, and I’m
glad we did as this cozy place filled up quickly.
Saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. We were going to
Nashville and decided to visit. We ate there during lunch (approx. 11:15 am)
Monday 12/23/13. It was very busy, but the service was outstanding and the
food was awesome. The ONLY issue was with a young girl who was working the
cash register. Upon checking out, I asked if they sold their T-shirts (I buy a
T-shirt at all of the restaurants that I LOVED to eat at). She said “yes, but
we don’t have a variety of…
Wow this place was great!! How can you go wrong with $3 tacos that are of this
quality. We had the spicy beef, tilapia and the grilled corn on the cob. The
spicy beef was spicy but flavorful and had the perfect balance. The tilapia was
perfectly done and tasted great and don’t skip the corn. The place was packed
and a line the whole time we were there but was not a big deal, that was part
of the draw! Congrats on the great taco shop!
That’s all that was on my mind for just the few tiny minutes that I allowed
that grilled cheese to remain in my hand.
How did I forget to write this? I’m surprised by some of the low reviews, so I
have to add my 2-cents.

My fiance and I popped in here last night for a nice date night to celebrate
the end of successful semester. On the whole we had a fabulous experience with
minor complaints.
The vibe, food, and staff are all excellent here.
I love indie restaurants that do a few things really great rather than a lot of
things mediocre. This is up there on my list after ordering “THE” pan fried
chicken. Yes, that’s how it’s listed on the chalkboard of less than a dozen
offerings.
Sixteen years ago Brian Solomon came down to Cabo San Lucas on a fishing trip
with some friends. There wasn’t much around then, but they did happen upon a
small taco bar on the newly built marina. At the time Brian had always wanted
to open a restaurant, and after seeing that place and this town he knew that
he’d found the perfect place. Eventually Brian bought that little spot on the
marina and turned it into more than just a taco bar. - See more at:…
Best authentic Reuben sandwich in Santa Fe! The fresh fruit option is great as
a side because the fruit is actually fresh and tasty.
I’ve been to quite a few BBQ joints in the KC area, but I can honestly say
Danny Edwards is my #1 choice. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and
helpful. Mr Edwards is a really nice guy that will always greet you with a
smile. And they have all the BBQ favorites.
On my first visit I brought my two young children for a quick snack, we ordered
Raspberry-mango smoothies for the kids and I chose the coffee milkshake. The
very friendly cashier gave each kid a free cookie; that deserves 5 stars alone.
Although I live in St. Louis, we frequent Kansas City because of the
boyfriend’s work, and we usually try to get to some of the local good eats.
BB’s has been the best find so far!
I give the Rueben 5 million stars…seriously. Howie is not exagerrating when
he says how good this sandwich is–and I don’t even LIKE Ruebens. The Cuban was
good, but it’s lacking mustard and pickles. I probably wouldn’t order it again.
The other sandwiches on the menu look amazing as well, I’ll have to try the
“filthy” or the “505 filthy.” The soup was also really good, I could go back
just for that!
We stopped here for lunch while on vacation in Sante Fe. We’d just arrived, so
we were a little clueless as to where to go for a yummy meal. We knew, for
sure, that we wanted some supper-yummy new Mexican food. I checked out Yelp
and we schlepped on over to Casa Chimayo. It is outside the Plaza area and we
were walking, so we pretty much had no idea where we were going. We were
navigating, on foot, via Google Maps. I am so glad we stuck it out.
Solid and quite authentic American-Italian.
Ambience is … about what you get @ most East Coast and Great Lakes
American-Italian joints. This is the food of my youth, served up well.
All the crappy reviews complaining about the chairs or the AC? Who are you
people, go have a frozen meal out of a bag @ 0l1v3 G@rd3n. Seriously …
This food it pitch perfect.
Highly recommended if you are in the area.
I came here with a date because we were both craving some hot noodle soup on a
chilly Portland night. First off, this place is adorable! It’s a classic
Victorian house that was converted into a delicious Korean/Chinese restaurant.
We were sat on the second floor in this little room with an electric fireplace
for a little extra comfort.
This is by far my favorite place to eat in New Mexico. I now live in
Albuquerque and travel up to Santa Fe just to eat here. The food is so amazing
and well priced.
I looked up a few places to eat in Albuquerque before I traveled there and
found this one! My friends and I had some trouble finding it, but were able to
finally find it based on one if the tips from another reviewer.
