Honestly one of my favorite places to eat in Hillcrest and San Diego in
general.
Their smoked meat is amazing, and I was THRILLED on a recent visit (Dec ‘12)
that they had gotten gluten-free bread (major score).
Check their website for where they will be located! This is a food truck and
they call it “quick gourmet” food. Comes out in 3 minutes and looks like a
million dollars.
Beer Belly is a beer bar focused on serving craft beer, and crafty food.
I really enjoy the Crown Bar! Best deal is their happy hour (3-6:30 M-SAT and
I believe all day Sunday). Their Moroccan Beef Kebabs and Chicken Tikka Kebabs
at $5 cannot be beat.
We had to look for that place, it’s small, tucked away, and there’s no sign
apart from a little sticker on the window. But man was it worth it! The menu is
far from extensive, and we only got The Burger, but believe me, that’s all you
will need :)
This entrance to this place is hard to find during a rainy night, although it
is probably at any time if you have never been here before. Parents asked me
to pick a place for dinner and I settled on this place based on yelp reviews.
It did not disappoint.
Geechee Girl was filmed for the Food Network hit show Diners, Drive-ins and
Dives with host Guy Fieri. We are thrilled to have been chosen and it was a
great experience. And for anyone who’s wondering, Guy is just as nice and just
as much fun as he seems on TV. As soon as we get an air date, we’ll let you
know.

What I like the most about Percy St is the ambiance and the side
dishes/appetizers.
We offer cool brews, smokin’ good food and an atmosphere that warms the soul
and cures what ales ya.
“There are 13 taps, ten of them on a specially-made ten-tap “T” which was
commissioned from a North Philadelphia metal working shop.
Where do you go on a drizzly sunday afternoon when in need of some drinks, food
and seats for friendly conversation? why not here?! In between brunch and
dinner they have a small break and menu change then the kitchen opens right
back up. In the meantime they keep serving drinks :)
My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner here while on vacation. We went on a
Saturday night so we expected to wait. It was nice that they had bar specials
that were responsibly priced and we also enjoyed the peanuts that they have in
big barrels.
My husband and I have eaten at Fish Tale a handful of times - every time we’ve
been impressed.
