Eden Eats
Pampas is a small, family-oriented business tucked into the bottom of a
shopping center. You have to keep a close eye to find it, but it’s worth the
hunt. The baked Argentine goods: alfjores (puff pastry with dulce de leche)
and empenadas are awesome (I prefer the beef to the chicken). You may have to
wait a minute or two, but probably more because this is a Mom & Pop operation,
so the owners do everything…just how I like and what I grew up in. Also
recommend the Beef Milanesa.
Everything I’ve tried here has been very flavorful, perfectly cooked and well
seasoned. I recommend the Shahrazad Special plate to try the three most popular
kabobs they offer.
Everything is cooked to order, so waits should be expected. But service is
usually friendly.
After going to other Lao restaurants in San Diego, I decided to give Asia Cafe
a try. I’m really glad I did. Definitely a hole in the wall place but they have
really authentic Laotion food!
I am Brazilian, and when I need some good home food, Café no Bule is the place
to I go. It is honest and good food. The place is spot CLEAN!!!!!! Food is the
best. It is the closest you can get to the real Brazilian experience, and it
is super affordable.

Saw Deli SA on yelp with lots of great reviews. It’s been on my radar for
quite awhile, so last week, I sent someone from work to get an assortment of
meat pies. We were not disappointed! Everyone was very happy and i got lots
of praise for picking this place.
some of the pies come in a tin like a chicken pot pie, others in oversized
empenada pastry form.

After checking them out on an episode of “Eden Eats” I had to give the burger a
try that was featured on the show. This is the messiest, juiciest, tastiest
thing between two slices of bread.
Nelson Umana has over 20 years of experience working in the international Latin

like Argentina, Peru, Mexico, El Salvador and Cuba, he now brings you El Puerto
Restaurant and Grill at the corner of 5th and 17th in Ybor City!
I can’t say enough about this small personal family owned restaurant. Great
food personal service, and the highest compliment I can make about a commercial
establishment as you felt you were eating in someones home.
Let’s be honest: it’s a bit of a hole in the wall. But that doesn’t mean the
food isn’t great. From gyros/gyro platters to Greek salads, to other items:
they’re tasty!
We have “Socials” monthly where we get our chance to enjoy typical Norwegian
foods such as lutefisk, salmon, labskaus, lefse and more and enjoy the
fellowship of other members and guests!
One of the most popular Turkish restaurants in the United States and maybe the
best in San Diego, CA, Sultan Turkish Cuisine has carved its signature in food
lovers hearts and souls.
Tara’s is as good a bit of ethnic exploration as you’ll find anywhere.
The ambience here is pure Trinidadian roti shack, run by real Trinidadians.
**Baiz Market** is a combination between a multinational food market, a
Lebanese restaurant, and a sweet and a pita bread factory.
Got clued in to this place by a coworker of mine, many moons ago, and have to
admit I was surprised by how good it was. I believe this small place has been
through a couple iterations as other bakeries, but in its current incarnation
as the Balkan Bakery, it has apparently been doing well for a number of years
now.
We love this place! The food is good, very unique, and the employees (family)
are super friendly.
Great authentic Indian food. Small family owned place. Quick Service. Indian
groceries are also available.
