Food Paradise
Yeah. This place lived up to the hype, and the service just made it better.
Everything our server recommended was spot-on…and the couple times we strayed
from her suggestions…we wish we hadn’t. Not that it was bad…it just wasn’t
as good as her recommendations.
Came here on a recommendation for lunch one day. I ordered the pork vermicelli
and my friend ordered the pork and shrimp vermicelli.
I will admit to being something of a ‘regular’ at DownUnder, and I also play
acoustic shows here 2 or 3 times a month. But believe me, if it wasn’t such
an awesome place, I wouldn’t hang out; I’d play my gigs and leave. Instead, I’m
here all the time.
Welcome to the Turtle Beach Inn Gulf front bed and breakfast with Gulf view
cottages, where you can experience the charm and natural beauty of Florida’s
Forgotten Coast.
Kegel’s Inn is the most authentic German beer hall and restaurant in the
Milwaukee area. With incredible murals, leaded glass, and heavy wooden beams,
one can alsmost hear rounds of “Du Bist Mein Herzen” reverberating in the
Bierstube.
Please don’t let the bad reviews keep you from experiencing this unique
floridalicious eatery. Great food served up in a fun friendly atmosphere. This
ain’t no Applebees or TGIFs.
I thought we had made a mistake when we walked in the door. Everything about
this place honestly read “Louisiana Tourist Trap Chain Restaurant” to me. I
resigned myself to it, because I don’t mind a chain restaurant as much if it’s
not a chain I can find at home. Perusing the restaurant’s website, though, I
learned that it wasn’t a chain at all. Just a wildly successful local favorite
with some cheesy decorations and a gift-shop. Well, that’s an…
I have been eating at this burger joint for over 15 years, and have just now
thought of writing a review for it. After reading some of the reviews, I was
shocked to see this place received anything lower than 4 stars!! The burgers
here are the most delicious, distinct tasting burgers I have ever had. These
can not be compared to in n’ out y any means.
Bring your appetite. This is a great place. Much like the Cajun Dance and
eating halls of old. Great service!!!! The craw fish when in season are some
of the best I have ever had. The rest of the items on the menu (I have had
most of them at least once) are great. They have a great seafood plated and
certainly one of the best soft shell crabs I have ever had. I have been eating
here for over 30 years and have NEVER been disappointed. The wait staff is
excellent and the service is quick.
I grew up having No Name a few times a month, because my mother had worked at a
near by bank. Now that I live near Philadelphia, I always try to make time to
have No Name when we’re in Boston. The fish is always fresh and the price is
so reasonable.
The Place Restaurant is a truly unusual restaurant where visitors dine outdoors
while a crackling wood fire roasts savory clams, smoky lobsters, sweet corn and
much more. Instead of chairs, tree stumps encircle bright red tables,
decorated with a bottle of freshly cut flowers.
Faidley’s managed to meet my extremely high expectations…and then some! My
expectations were met by the affordable and HUGE, fully lump, minimal filler
sweet and flavorful jumbo lump crab cake ($12.95). The extra oomph came from
some unexpectedly delicious deviled eggs. They were sweeter than your standard
deviled eggs, but the flavors totally worked (half egg for ~$0.65).
This is about as good as it gets. I’ve been for lunch, afternoon drinks and
stumbling out at 2am. Each time was awesome.
I’ve been here a few times and really enjoyed it. Unlike the other folks who
come here for the fried food, I always get the Steamers(mussels only). the
food always comes out quick and the mussels are always so sweet. This last
time I got a couple of oysters on the 1⁄2 shell and they tasted like the ocean.
Pelletier’s is my favorite fish boil in Door County. I remember going here with
my parents when I was a kid. It hasn’t changed a bit! I usually get the light
eaters fish fry. It comes with one piece of fish rather than two. The fish boil
is served with boiled potatoes and onions, cole slaw, bread and Door County
cherry pie to round out the meal.
Start at the bar. Perfect Hendricks martinis ($15) - shaken not stirred, that’s
how I’ll take it any day of the week. Nice ice flecks floating atop the deep
pour of gin. Lady friend and I think a lot alike in the regard.
The magestic view from the dining room always sets me thinking about being a
long shore fisherman. Then I get my back on straight. We live in the burbs of
Philly, so this is no short ride-and I don’t care!
Just looking for a place to have fun with my 16 year-old daughter in Austin.
She wanted to see 6th Street. And plenty of people tried to drag us into the
clubs until they saw that my super cute daughter was also super young.
This is a great little place in Old Town Alexandria. It doesn’t look like much
from the outside but the food is absolutely amazing. During the summer they
have an outdoor garden out back that is really pretty. The food is reasonably
priced and the service has been good each time we’ve been.
Vegans rejoice! There is FINALLY a buffet we can get our fill at. Their pasta
bar is entirely vegan - including spinach and artichoke ravioli and homemade
vegan sausages. All the vegan options are properly listed on the nameplates and
easy to see. Even their chocolate chip cookies are vegan!
