Food Paradise
Watch the colorful koi as they glide through the shimmering ponds. Listen to
the waterfalls as they cascade down the rocks. And feel the gentle breeze as it
makes its way through the lush garden. All while you indulge in Asian, Western
and Hawaiian cuisine favorites – like fresh Island sashimi and sushi, tender
prime rib of beef and delectable snow crab legs.
I like the atmosphere and set up of this buffet. My husband and I did not have
to wait too long to get a seat, and the service was always adequate. They have
few menu items that we both really enjoy, and then a couple that could use some
work (pizza.) When you get their brunch buffet, the food ranges from french
toast (YUM) to fish to beef to pasta to Asian fare to fruit to desserts. It’s a
wide variety, and both times I’ve been there I’ve been thrilled with my
selections.
I desperately scoured the internet for some place in Bangor with home style
cooking but didn’t imagine I would find something as great as Dysart’s. I am a
lover of beef liver so anywhere with liver on the menu immediately wins my
heart. Make it taste really good and include some healthy veggies, and I’m in
heaven. I am only in Bangor for a few days, but I hope to eat as many meals as
possible at Dysart’s - not kidding. The place was outstanding. If your nose
is high…
This place is a great addition to the Pittsburgh restaurant scene. It’s been
on my list for quite awhile and I finally got there on my recent visit to the
burgh. A friend and I risked it without reservations and met at 6, we were
lucky and easily snagged 2 seats at the bar. This place is small - it took me
awhile to realize that the mirrors on the walls around the place were just that
- mirrors and that the place wasn’t huge.
HOLY SH!T! THIS IS THE 50th STEAKHOUSE I’VE REVIEWED! I’ve been here once
before, but that was before I started doing reviews. I remember thinking it was
in my short list of favorites at the time, so I needed to come back and give it
the old once-over, JP style. The verdict: not quite as incredible as I
remember, but still a solid dining experience.
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? With a name like Doe’s Eat
Place, you know it’ must have generations of history behind it. If you’re new
to Greenville or the Delta in general and you’re using your GPS to bring you
here, don’t be alarmed as you drive up - your GPS hasn’t flaked out - yes,
Doe’s is definitely in the hood! You wouldn’t believe this converted turn of
the century shack, er house is home to steaks pushing the $50…
I wish there were a more elegant way to put this: Holy Sh*t. This is good
steak. When you come to Five O’Clock, you’re coming for a delicious piece of
beef and some good old Wisconsin hospitality. Period. No bells. No whistles. If
you come in expecting a typical supper club experience, you will be completely
blown away. If you’re looking for a more upscale experience, I will direct you
to my review of Carnevor.
When in Billings for work, there is no other place we eat than The Rex. Every
time I have eaten here, except once, it has been great. This is a steakhouse
(why would you get coastal seafood in the middle of MT?) and I recommend the
fillet or rib eye. The only thing I have had that was not good was the chicken
sandwich.
You can still get a hearty meal at Sparks even if you don’t eat red meat. I
was there again with a friend this evening and still got a filling meal. I had
their spinach salad which is HUGE (there was as much spinach as there is in
one of those ready pak bags you get at the market). It was also finished
nicely with sauteed mushroom slices and bacon bits.
An Indianapolis institution that is a MUST for anyone coming to Indy for the
first time. This is the king of all restaurants in Indy. The best steaks cooked
to perfection, You open the doors and walk through, check your coat and walk
past the bar upfront to your table. Dark wood, classic and old school charm,
the kind of place where all the men should be smoking cigars and drinking
whiskey straight. St. Elmo’s is a timeless classic that makes me feel like I’ve
gone back in time,…
Absolutely amazing!
I love, love, love this restaurant! When the apocalypse begins, my army of
raiding savages will take over Casa Bonita for our base of operations. This
restaurant is amazing. It’s like if Disneyland and a Spaghetti Western had sex
with a Mexican restaurant. This place rules, it is real and it is awesome. It
is an experience to behold! The food is terrible, but who cares?! The
experience and atmosphere alone make a trip here worth while. It’s a bit on the
pricey side and the food is…
Since 1940, El Indio has been dedicated to delivering the finest Mexican food
in the world.
YUCAS IS SO GOOD. I have only been once, and it was a few months ago, but a
day doesn’t go by where I don’t consider driving up to get a burrito (I am just
cheap and lazy or else I probably would).
I decided to try this place after finding it on Google maps because it is that
close to where I live. I drive by this place every day on my way to work and
took me 6 months of living here to realize it even existed! I have been missing
out.
So overall I gave them 4 stars, but beware - service is painfully slow. I’ve
been at least a dozen times and its been that way every.single.time I’ve gone -
be it a busy weekend, slow weekday, inside, outside, at the bar, at a table,
etc etc etc. Just make sure you’re not in a rush and be prepared to do a lot of
sitting around waiting.
One of my favorite Tex-Mex places to eat. If you go after 3 you really only
get two options but you really only need one. The Family style dinner is
awesome. It consists of Cheese/jalapeño Nachos, Cheese Enchiladas, Tacos,
Beans, Rice and Guacamole. The other option is Fajitas. Service is good and
despite the recent price increase the food is still priced good.
A must visit place when I am in Santa Fe. This was a local secret but now is a
major tourist spot after a couple of TV exposes. Still a great place, but not
is even more crowded.
We popped in here on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was slammed…and
rightfully so. The food is delicious. The prices are right. The staff is
awesome. The beer is great. This place is fun!
Homeroom brought all the delicious forms of cheese and roasted vegetables
together in a warm and welcoming environment that really reminded me of a long
lost high school experience (sans detention).
