Heat Seekers
**World’s Famous N’awlins** has re-opened for the first time since
Hurricane Katrina, and we’re celebrating our 70th birthday this year!
I just have 4 words to say, ALL - YOU - CAN - EAT. When I personally see these
words, I get excited. Here at Hana Bar, it is no different. I’m talking sushi
from the bar that is made to order… not like some buffet aisle.
I really enjoyed this place! We started with the vegetable samosas, which were
great. I love the sauces that come with them - I wish I knew what the
dark-purplish one was made of (or even what it’s called). It’s my favorite! For
our entrees we got the chicken saag and the chicken makhani. I loved the creamy
tomato sauce of the chicken makhani, and the chicken was really tender. The
saag was excellent, as well. And of course we got naan, and it was buttery and
delicious.
Welcome to the one, the only, the original Texas Chili Parlor. An Austin
institution since 1976, TCP is many things to many people.
I have never lived in LA only visited, so my taste buds may not be tuned in to
this type of cooking, but I sure do know what tasty is. And this right here is
tasty food. Great reasonable prices too. You will just have to try it for
yourself.
My husband has been here before, and took me on a Saturday night. I was quite
impressed with the entire atmosphere! Downstairs was quaint and comfortable
and they have a great outdoor area that is very nice.
Lunch at Tomasita’s consisted of one Combination Plate, a Mexican Plate, and a
1⁄2 liter of margaritas. The tacos on the combo plate were the stand-out, and I
enjoyed everything on the Mexican plate, which included posole. The green chile
was on the weak side, but it was still tasty. The sopapillas were OK and their
honey cream spread is famous. I typically prefer sopapillas from other
restiarantds, but that being said, Tomasita’s does their just fine. The
margaritas were…
One of my all time favorite restaurants! Used to go to the ones in The U
District and Capitol Hill when they only had beer! This location has a full bar
- even better!
Sometimes in life there are things you happen upon and they surprise you ……
When I first heard there was a “hot dog” joint on Barracks Row, I immediately
thought about Weiner Works from back in the day and ignored it. But the lady
was curious, checked the pace out and then told me about a hot dog with bulgogi
and kimchi on it.
Possibly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend making
reservations via OpenTable and Yelp.
One of my favorite places in South Tampa. All day happy hour, friendly staff,
good and simple food. Try a fried Oreo Sundae, just once. Amazing.
We are so happy to see a family focused restaurant. Easy, casual, yummy and
friendly. Everything you can ask for …… But then there is Bethany who seals
the deal. A great front line for a new business.
Place was really good. Your really cant go wrong with any of the tacos there.
Id say, try the steak, the tinga, and the fish taco. The 6 taco sampler was a
great way to try a bunch between friends.
After ordering-in this week and having my meal delivered, Heaven On Seven’s
food was its usual sensational self. Simply stated, it’s about as close to
authentic as you’re going to get in Chicago (try the gumbo!).
Came here on a recommendation from a server at 2 Boroughs in Charleston. We
came on a Wednesday afternoon, small crowd, the bar tender was very nice and
helpful. This seems like a great place to get shwasted in/at, it has a very
beachy vibe, open air layout, and nothing makes you want to drink tons o’ beers
like rugby on the television.
A unique chocolate experience: espresso-sized cups of intensely flavored
chocolate delights, and super-friendly staff who clearly enjoy their job.
Food is great here. Reasonable priced, so don’t let looks deceive you. Sweet
potato fries are to die for and the egg/potato buns on the burgers are just one
of the reason why I love this place.
Hands down the best mexican I’ve had in town…so far. Very authentic and they
have a huge menu that should suit every taste. In the middle room you can even
see the tortillas being freshly made. The only thing that was bad about my
second trip was the fact that for the life of me I couldn’t remember what I got
the first time to order it again…but my second meal was excellent as well.
First off get your WiFi working. It never works! Never.
