Meat & Potatoes
I can’t believe this was my first visit to the local Zinburger. What a treat! I
can’t wait to return for a lunch special. I arrived early with a friend before
the crowds rolled in. The staff were all dressed in various football team
outfits for the upcoming day of games. Now before I continue the review,
please be aware I love to eat meat. I just really enjoy veggie burgers too.
It really is a little bitty barn of a place but that’s the only thing little
bitty about the joint. It’s great big on taste!
Wow oooo wow! The reviews were spot on for Michy’s. The experience here is
all food, not a stuffy atmosphere of who’s who. This is all about a
masterfully unique combination of various foods that delight your taste buds
from the incredible bread to the last spoonful of dessert.
Everything’s delicious here and service is great. Love their gourmet grill
cheese creations, especially with duck confit, their creative pizzas,
scrumptious desserts, smoothies, and coffees. Only downside, wish they were
closer and more convenient parking.
I am ridiculously mad at myself for not trying the gravy fries.
Like. Actually. Truly. Ridiculously. Mad.
Forget fine dining on a boat or in some shell of an old car, it’s all about
dining on a train. This one, opposed to the other in Santa Monica gives you the
distinct advantage of eating a fairly high price steak in a train setting.
Pie season is in full swing. If you didn’t get one from Pacific Pie for
Thanksgiving, you’re gonna wish you had.
Went last night for the first time and we were seated at a nice table in the
front overlooking the street. Bread right away is always good and the basket
had a nice assortment.
By far one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. The steak was very well
flavored and the sides that come with it complement the steak really well.
It’s a BOYB establishment which makes it even better!
Very solid burger joint. I ordred the “French and Fries” with grass fed beef.
The burger was topped with gruyere, truffle fries, avocado, caramelized onions,
watercress, and dijon mustard. SO BOMB. This baby packed a ton a flavor and the
beef patty was nice and juicy.
We had a great experience at Salt Factory. It’s a cozy restaurant, and it’s
pretty popular so don’t get fussy if you have to wait. Grab a drink and enjoy
your company. The food came out just as we ordered it (big fan of the burgers)
and it was hot! Our waitress was great at taking our drink orders and the bar
was even better at making them ASAP.
Been going to MSH forever, for years. I very often go to the one in Redmond,
since it’s close to some of my favorite clients.
Im fairly easily persuaded. A woman who falls prey to simple whims you could
say. Advertisers should love me. I mean really! I can watch an episode of
Spongebob Squarepants and end up wanting a hamburger after seeing a single
Krabby Patty… so when Kristin C. sent me a picture of a crispy piece of
chicken wrapped in a waffle I really had no choice. I relented completely to my
impulses and went with her to wait and wait and WAIT for the aforementioned
chicken & waffles.
Went to Soul fire Sunday thanks to the generous groupon they have been
advertising ($10 for $20 worth of takeout! Can’t beat that!). Figured i would
get some good eating and relax to watch the Pats beat the Phins.
The duck dinner is awesome! They carve up a whole duck into slivers, each
piece has a bit of skin on it. You put these pieces in a steam bun type taco
basically with pickled radish, carrot, green onion and duck sauce. It is
delicious!!
Tat’s is my favorite Philly joint in Seattle. I know a lot of people prefer
Calozzi’s, but I like how Tat’s keeps their meat unchopped and in large pieces.
It makes them more tender and not dried out. I usually ask for extra seasoning
on mine as I prefer mine a bit saltier.
I came here with my dad when we first arrived in Portland, shortly after
exiting the Greyhound station where two drunks passengers got into a fistfight
over luggage.
How have I not reviewed THE Primehouse? Better late than never. This is hands
down the best steak you can get in the city of Chicago (I know for sure) and
probably anywhere else (just assuming).
Dim Sum carts are great for lunch. You get to pick many plates and taste
different flavors and food preparations. I visited recently with three
colleagues. All of us loved the food. We picked around 10 plates and shared It
was perfect; not full, but just the right amount of food. The last time I had
Dim Sum at Tropical Chinese was ~2006-2007, and this was again a great
experience.
Awesome food, awesome staff….me want more !!!!! This place does not
disappoint in any way. Great knowledgeable staff, awesome and friendly. It was
a great way for the wife and I to start our Atlanta trip.
