Meat & Potatoes
Screw it. 5 stars! Round of applause, Italian style. Throw a bravissimo in
there while we’re at it because hell, it doesn’t matter what the cost, this is
damn good, stfu-and-let-me-eat good, Italian.
I think the burgers at Westport Flea Market are amazing. I’m talking the MEAT.
Not the fancy toppings – this is no Red Robin (and that is fine by me!),
there are not 42 varieties of burgers. There are 2 – 5 oz or 10 oz. but you
can add cheese. So what I don’t love –
CASH only??? what decade is this?
Oh my gosh. Basically, this place is amazing. My boyfriend and I just casually
ordered a few appetizers to-go on a weeknight, not thinking we would die and go
to modern Persian food heaven. Since we ordered to-go, we didn’t get the dining
experience here (although my bf did mention ambiance was sophisticated, nice
bar area) so this review is based solely on food.
I absolutely love this place and have been dining here regularly for the past
couple years. Everything on the menu is excellent.
Came here recently on a Saturday night since I was staying across the street at
Red Rock. I was craving Mexican food only to find out the Cabo Cantina inside
Red Rock is closed and will be turning into a Lucielle’s BBQ in the future.
Therefore we decided to head over to Agave.
Thanks to a damn fine Rachel (made anytime on request, featured on Mondays),
the occasional Extra Funky Jamaican Jerk chicken sango with jack cheese,
mango-habañero BBQ sauce and a cooling jicama slaw and the now-mandatory 99¢
deviled eggs, I whole-heartedly bump the ASSBar to four stars.
The first review is of the old location that is now a Walgreen’s - the current
location is just a 100 yards or so east of there. The restaurant is nestled
between a laundrymat and and a t-shirt shop so it’s easy to miss.
This is the best restaurant in Ft. Worth! It’s one of the best restaurants in
the state of Texas and may be in my top 5 anywhere!
If I lived in Atlanta, I would be at the place a couple times a week. Wish
there was soul food like this in Texas but I’m sure I would be overweight so
maybe it’s a good thing. They’re opened from 11-3pm and on the outside it
might not seem like somewhere you’d want to eat but TRUST me, this place is
soooo worth it.
I’d probably passed this place a thousand times and kept saying, “I should try
that,” and I can’t believe it took 7 1⁄2 years to get here. This is some
surprisingly good food!
Amazing from the second you could hear the register ring up your receipt. My
first (FIRST!) taste of New Orleans food: Pulled Pork Sandwich & a Pinot Noir
for me, Muffaletta & a Chardonnay for him and we were set.
I’ve been here twice, both times on my birthday, both times with large parties.
I had dinner with 12 of my friends and I really enjoyed it. Even with a large
party the food came out a really good time.
A friend suggested we trek to Fort Worth for breakfast at the Cowtown Diner.
Seems she had tried it out a couple weeks ago for lunch and enjoyed it and
wanted to try breakfast.
This review is for the bakery, I did not go into the resturaunt that is
connected to it.
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in New Orleans (which considering all
I spend my money on is eating out and shopping is saying a lot). I have had
friends for years and have not told them or taken them here because I’m selfish
and love this place so much. I have even told friends that I brought here that
if our friendship doesn’t workout and we have to stop being friends then I get
the restaurant and they are banned for life. Yes my friends say I’m crazy and
it is that…
I visited this place on a Saturday night and was blown over by the ease in
parking (valet) and in sitting us quickly (yes we had reservations, a must). We
had a head waiter with many assistant waiters. The service was great and the
head waiter sure knew his food here. He gave great recommendations.
Best greasy burger shake combo anywhere near Eugene. I love the insanity that
goes down in this establishment. I had a transient try and sell me an empty
tube of Ben Gay here once.
Delicious! Love the Dan Dan noodles and Three cups chicken. Spicy but
flavorful and amazing!
We were in Vegas for a birthday celebration and lucky for us it was Las Vegas
Restaurant week…..decisions, decisions…oh, where to go.
I’ve been here twice for brunch now and yes, the food will cost you a pretty
penny. Yes, it is almost always packed so you’ll be waiting at least 10 minutes
in line to pay that pretty penny. Yes the tables are close together and you’d
better find parking behind the restaurant or you’ll have to redo the meter
every 45 minutes. And finally, yes there seems to be an overabundance of good
looking people here.
