Outrageous Food
This has been my sushi joint since the 90s Since Sushi Aki across the street I
don’t get there enough I don’t eat out that much But here’s what I LOVE -
Dynamite Roll for dessert, the sprouts while you are waiting, the albacore is
to die for, the salmon melts in your mouth, the calamari - I call gourmet
french fries.
Tasty, family-run, decent prices, and a Houston tradition - what’s not to love?
You aren’t going to find a plethora of donuts, but you will find some great
bagels, breads, cakes, cupcakes, pies, and cookies. Love this place.
We came across the 710 Grille while looking for a sit down burger place that
didn’t feel rushed. It’s now our go-to celebratory lunch stop. The wings are
great and you can even add some spice with all the extra levels of heat
available.
Overall I like what they are trying to do here. I have eaten here twice and
enjoyed it, first time better than the second but I attribute that to what I
ordered. I had a hamburger (Paradise city burger) the first time and it was
delicious, second time I had a brisket sandwich you dip like a French dip (the
Napoleon). The fries are seasoned well and they use the crushed ice (my
personal favorite). Most of the items on the menu sound good to me or at least
they make them sound food to me. On the…
The outside of the restaurant is totally unassuming in a strip mall next to the
DMV. I live half a mile behind this place, drive past it all the time, and
never once considered coming here. Then I attended a post-baptism luncheon
here, and while I can’t speak for the regular restaurant service, I would most
definitely look to Bartolini’s if I needed to host a shower or other small
event.
Well, there were two pizzas here that I loved and would rotate between, and one
of them was removed from the menu about a year ago, never to return. With it
goes a star. R.I.P., Cherry Pesto.
This place was probably one of the highlights of my trip. my friend at work
went a few months earlier and even did the ribeye for 6 or some craziness like
that.
I was skeptical coming into Burger Jones based on the mixed reviews for this
place. A gleaming recommendation from a coworker and the factor of convenience
to my wife’s favorite yoga spot saw our destinies collide face first into one
of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
Cactus Bob’s is one of our favorite local BBQ’s joints. Amazing food for a
great price.
I am one of those that absolutely hates hot dogs. For me, they generally tastes
awful and make my stomach feel awful. Those days are behind me thanks to
Chicago’s Dog House. In this small local joint, I got to behold one of the most
delicious delicious sausages. That is right double the deliciousness.
Really authentic fish and chips. Curry mashed potatoes, amazing. I actually
cant remember if they came that way or if I ordered a side of curry and added
the mashed potatoes. Either way, amazing…
We go here about every other week. These people know how to run a diner. The
food isn’t the world’s best, after all it’s diner food, but it’s good and
consistent. Even when the place is packed, the kitchen turns out product fast,
the wait staff is well trained and always friendly and place is always clean
even though they never close.
