Slightly pricey, but the smooth and rich coffee is worth every drop! This
location is very chill and lacking the loud music other coffee houses blare.
The windows are perfect for people watching and the art that surrounds you is
cool! Oh, and the barista was very personable and eccentric.
Nice breakfast – but if you’re going on the weekend go early because you will
wait for a table in the small dining room. Solid food, nice service, and a
comfortable table. Gentlemen: be sure to visit the bathroom; it’s comically
small.
This is your classic diner with typical breakfast items and sandwiches. I got
the corned beef hash which was awesome! I can’t say I am a huge fan of corned
beef hash to begin with, but I cleaned my plate when it was all over.
Definitely get this! The coffee is pretty terrible, but nothing some sugar
can’t cure. I also heard the short ribs are good when they are the daily
special.
They had a lot of drink selections to choose from as well as some fun “girlie”
drinks, which I like. My husband was impressed w/ their beer selection, so
that kept him happy!
Great place for breakfast, it’s crazy how coffee is as expensive as orange
juice now a days. Service was great, our server was very attentive and very
nice. Food was also very good. My hubby and I always try to make it here when
we are in Park City. Their buttermilk pancakes are okay, nothing fantastic
like what they have in Chicago at Richard Walkers. The search for the ultimate
pancake in Park City still continues.
Yum! I was visiting Park City to go skiing and was lucky enough to go to Wahso.
First off, we had an absolutely outstanding waiter, Peter. He made excellent
suggestions and was able to read the vibe of our table in a way that made for a
great experience. Also, we had a large group and the round table was nice for
holding a conversation.
I found it slightly irritating that there was a 12 item menu at 3pm during the
transition from lunch to dinner. Maybe this is bc it is slow season?
Pros: Great, fast service. Cream of Mushroom soup was great. Burger-okay, could
have been seasoned a little more, nothing special to it.
Food here was excellent after a long late flight in. The 2 if us and our teen
son and 10 yr. old daughter all loved it! Plus our waitress was a lot of fun
and outgoing and attentive so it made it a great first dinner in Park City!
Watched my first Sundance movie here. Of course, just like the name suggests,
the theater has an ancient Egyptian-themed decorative details. The atmosphere
is very charming and moody in a dorky way. But it had a distinctive mystical
feel. The screen is even wrapped with fake stone columns around the other
edges. It did successfully seclude us from outside world and put us in movie
mood.
Arts of the World Gallery is small but very nice inside and well organized. The
owner told us that she travels around the world, meets artists and artisans,
pays a fair price of their work, and represents her finds at her gallery.
Inside there is a lot of cool stuff: many textiles and wood carvings, lots of
masks, some pottery and many ceramic miniatures, lots of jewelry such as
necklaces and earrings, and many other nice things.
We are here now enjoying a fabulous family winter getaway. We really wanted to
expose our toddler to skiing and have as much fun as a family can considering
i’m in my 3rd trimester with twins. The accommodations are great and the
highlight thus far is their private ski lessons for our toddler. We couldn’t be
more impressed with Ann, who should be named the Ski School Coach to the Stars!
Well I’m not trying to brag, but our breakfasts came out in like 10 minutes. We
had nary a wait. Helpful tip: Eat your breakfast at 10:30 PM, avoid the wait.
Yeah, so that’s why so lickettysplit. We were on a little road-trip with plans
to stay over in Knoxville for the night, but wasn’t sure what manner of grub
would be open by the time we got there, and suddenly, scrolling, saw some
hoarded bookmark from long, long ago…
Great food. Shrimp and grits. For dinner. Plus I tried my spouses fish of
the day special which was a snapper. Both were made with so much southern
flavor. Appetizer. Salmon cake was ok. The chilli was Nothing special.
While I’m not the biggest fan of Bongo’s coffee - there are a couple items on
the menu that are my go-tos: the “basic” and the “fancy grilled cheese.” The
basic is basic: 2 eggs, made to order, hashbrowns, toast, and a cup of coffee.
As simple as it sounds, it always tastes good, and only costs $5. The fancy
grilled cheese adds pesto and tomatoes to spice up the sandwich staple. It
usually comes with a side of chips & salsa.
I completely highly highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good
brunch / good people / good food. Upon driving over, it’s establishment is a
small cozy ranch house with gravel parking in the back. Its located across the
street from a Moe’s! (Which I completely did not know existed outside of
germantown).
The Chattanooga Choo Choo is the only Historic Hotels of America resort in
Chattanooga, TN. The Terminal Station in Downtown Chattanooga has been
converted into the most fun and beautiful of all Chattanooga hotels! Whether
you stay in one of our Victorian Train Cars, Hotel Suites or Standard Rooms, as
one of the top Tennessee resorts, you can enjoy our indoor and outdoor pools,
gardens and on-site shopping.
But I’m here to talk about the dinner, so here goes. On this trip, we did not
opt for appetizers, but I have had the pleasure to devour the tomato bisque
with a mini grilled cheese on top in prior visits. Hello delicious! We actually
had the same waiter this weekend that we had on our first visit, and he was
just as friendly and personable as I remember, (his name is Matt) and even
though we did not order appetizers, he brought us a complementary mini fried
green tomato bite with a corn…
We were advised to go during “off hours” to avoid the wait. That didn’t really
work. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon (a rainy one at that), and the
place was packed with a long wait (for us, about 45 minutes?).
Great live music, wonderful atmosphere, and the staff is awesome! We hit the
Nashville scene and were overwhelmed with all the great venues to chose from.
Legends was our second stop and we didn’t leave until closing! Drinks were
cheap and the bands were amazing. Wish I could find something like this near
home, although that could get dangerous. Would definitely recommend this place
to anyone! I for sure will be back as often as i can.
This is a great little place to grab breakfast and a coffee. I have no idea why
anyone would wait more than an hour standing outside to get into Pancake Pantry
– walk across the street, folks!
