Rachael Ray $40 a Day
The last time I had been here was spring break of freshman year when my friends
took me here on my birthday. I thought it was expensive and hyped for what it
was worth and refused to come back for a long time.
The name is more appropriately stated as Picnics Bake Shop and Restaurant. The
absolutely best pumpkin pie you will eat and this is the basis of my rating. If
you go there for nothing else go for the pie. For years we ordered our
thanksgiving pie from Picnics. It is one of those foods your taste buds do not
forget. Going on a picnic. Call ahead to picnics and pick it up and head out
into the natural beauty of the forests of the Appalachian trail. Just want to
eat a truly southern home cooked…
Excellent, helpful & friendly staff, luggage carts are free for guest use if
you’re a DIY’er, free shuttle, free parking (no valet), free wired LAN & WiFi,

insufficient hot water), clean room, quiet A/C.

I had been meaning to go to Backstage Bistro for years, but for whatever reason
I never made it there even though I literally worked a block away from there
years ago. This place is entirely run by cooking school students trying to get
their recipes right as well as hospitality training- hosting and waiter
service. The waiters were a little awkward at times but it was actually
refreshing; they were trying their best to make a good impression.
I had lunch again today at Becky’s Diner. The fried haddock sandwich was
outstanding, but order your bun without the margarine they put on it before
they griddle it. The margarine was horrid. Becky, I LOVE your restaurant, but
please switch to real butter.
This estate is absolutely beautiful and is maintained by some very, very,
meticulous people. Every facet of your experience exceeded my expectations ,
the pricing is fair (as long as you book a week in advance and come during
off-peak months), and there are quite a few places to visit in this gigantic
estate.
The islanders said I had to have breakfast here and they were right! Delicious
all the way around. I had braced myself for the long wait but we lucked out in
that although there was a long line, all the tables turned over at the same
time so we got a table within 10 minutes (but heard that is not normal).
Ate here for the first time ever last night, and it lived up to everything I’d
heard it was. Delicious food, amazing waitstaff, great atmosphere, loved it.
Will definitely be going back. Try to seafood platter and shrimp bisque,
they’re simply fantastic!
The cupcakes were ginormous and delicious! The majority of our wedding guests
asked for to-go boxes for them to take home!
There is nothing better than an evening of hot cocoa, beignets and live music
outside of Cafe Beignet.
I have never been a fan of Cannolis…not sure why but I decided to get one
when I was walking through City Hall. I see a “chocolate mousse” one so I buy
it and it is absolutely delicious. The mousse is very whipped and the cannoli
and crunchy. For $3, it’s worth it!
This is a wonderful, inexpensive option for dining in downtown Nantucket.
Though the inside is nice, the back patio is where it’s at– head back there
for a spacious, super comfortable spot to relax and eat in the sun.
Cool buildings and a really fun place to explore. I came out here with a couple
friends since we were touring Boston and there were a lot of interesting shops
and beautiful buildings. There was always something going on in the streets (it
was very lively).
To give you my best review of this place, Just read any other 5 reviews from
other yelpers. I’ll basically say almost the same things. The Chicken Alfredo
Pasta topped with Broccoli is the number 1 Chicken Alfredo Pasta topped with
Broccoli plate I’ve ever had. Since I’m not a huge seafood eater and this place
is known more for it’s fresh seafood, I also loved their gnocchi my friend
ordered. Also, a bottle of white Pinot Noir for $9 was the cherry on top of the
Burj…
I knew this place would be good as soon as I pulled up- the parking lot was
packed on a Wednesday night. I thought there would be a wait but luckily the
place is huge inside so we were seated right away.
Excellent, fresh smoothies! All natural ingredients! Great GREEN smoothies!
They have a location on Moulton and a newer location at the Market House in
Monument square. You can get a 20oz shake with all natural veggies, fruits, a
protein such as nuts, and fresh made juice, like beet/carrot, for $5!! Add acai
or or other supplements for just $1. They also have wheat grass for $4. This
is by far my favorite breakfast or lunch stop!
Grendel’s is such a gem. What a delciious and super cheap meal! I can’t believe
it’s half off your meal with the pruchase of a drink for happy hour. Good food,
good staff, classic Harvard Square feel. I definitely will come back!
Love love love this place for breakfast. It won’t disappoint. You might have
to wait but the line moves quickly and these people work their butts off.
I’m only rating the Lobstah Roll. It costs $18 but it is well worth it imo. Big
chunks of lobster claw with the right amount of mayo and salt make it amazing.
Ate two while in Boston.
