Wonderful little Bahamian eatery, great patio, authentic meal, special local
color–true “island cooking”. mmmm
Such an excellent place to eat. I would go here everyday if I could. The
banana pancakes were the best I’ve had and my husband’s sausage egg and cheese
was the best he’s ever had. The side of banana bread was so good, we bought
some to bring home with us.
The complimentary crab salad and crackers is awesome, the prices are
unbeatable, and the seafood is fresh, right from the boat to your dish.
Speaking of dishes, if you’re expecting fancy china and silverware, this is not
the place for you. This is a no frills type of place that offers the same
quality of seafood as many of the other highly-priced seafood restaurants in
South Florida. Did you know many of the restaurants where you pay more than
double for fish, actually get their fish…
For now, this is my go-to brunch place. It’s not fantastic, but it never fails
to disappoint and it gets the job done. I always get the egg’s benedict. Now
I’m no egg’s benedict but I think it’s pretty amazing and I order it every
time. The egg is always perfected cooked and I have no complaints about the
hollandaise sauce, which is what really matters. It’s pretty hard to mess up
the English muffin or ham.
This is a family-owned restaurant – the only one of its kind – and definitely
worth checking out. What I love is a place with fondue that offers lighter
options, too. So there’s the traditional fondue – cheese, etc. And the hot
rock, where you can “grille” your meats on a hot rock for a low fat, tasty
option. They also offer vegetables and a truly incredibly cheesy, nutty salad
that you will end up craving.
We enjoyed the Crab Shack very much. The boiled crawfish, shrimp, crab legs,
potatoes, corn on the cob and smoked sausage platter was delicious. Very
enjoyable evening in a very fun atmosphere.
At first I was not impressed but I was in FLorida so i have to see the gators!
It was hot, 99 degrees when we went in SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER but on the air boat it
wasnt too bad. I didnt think anything could help with that humidity lol. The
tour guide was excellent. I absolutely loved him. Very pleasant and fun. All
the people there are awesome. It also is way closer to the fort
lauderdale/miami area then most of the tours we seen available. So it was a
win/win. Close to everything and awesome.
Went for breakfast and it was everything we were looking for. Reasonable prices
and big portions. Could split most of the dishes … expecially if you order a
side. The french toast was very good.
Great place. Very cute and the food is good. The desserts look amazing, but I
haven’t tried them. I’ve had their breakfast and lunch so far.
In the last 2 times, there is some idiot who leave their headlights on so the
screen is not as bright making the picture dimly lit. When you ask one of the
vendors on a golf cart, they refuse to ask those people to turn it off. Besides
being creppy as they are, they could at least make themselves more useful.
Instead, I believe all they want to do is to see a fight break out!
Excellent place to stay!It doesn’t look like much from the street, but the
courtyard is wonderful and the staff is just as friendly and helpful as can be.
And, you’re just steps away from a really nice spot on the beach! My wife and
I just stayed for one night before our cruise, but we’ll definitely be
returning for a longer stay!

Having taken a rare day off from our work, I decided we needed to try something
“different” for lunch. I had read reviews of Lacomka before and had been
itching to try. We have traveled to Russia before and enjoyed the cuisine
there, so let’s see how this is!
The room was clean and had two flat screen televisions, one in the living room
and one in the bedroom. The living room had a pull out couch where both kids
slept. There was an issue with the locks in the room. The bedroom and
bathroom locks pressed in on the door handle but you could still open the doors
from the other side. This could affect your privacy. I’m positive that the
staff could have fixed the issue but we never got around to calling the front
desk about it.
I’ve never been disappointed with this place. Its literally in the corner of
our home, and we absolutely love it.
Came here while on vacation for lunch due to my girlfriend and her mom raving
about their Chopped Salad. “What’s so special about their chopped salad?” I
(apparently) asked with naïveté. “Oh just you wait,” they replied in unison.
And wait I did. And wait, and wait, and wait. When the food came, I have to
admit it far exceeded my expectations. Not sure what made it so great, whether
it was the fact I was on vacation or eating in the warm sun in November or the…
One of my favorite aquariums! It’s so cute and cozy. The belugas are definitely
the most popular attraction here.
We stumbled across this place on vacation and are so glad we did!
Fantastic food and familiar atmosphere.
Amazing! We dined here on a Saturday night. We got there just as they opened
and it was very quiet. The presentation is wonderful inside. The tables are
set up beautifully and the decor is warm and inviting yet simple and elegant.
Best fried scallops ever! Sea Swirl caught me completely by surprise. I never
would have though that this roadside ice cream shack would raise the bar so
high on all my future fried seafood experiences.
