Rachael Ray $40 a Day
I’ve heard generally mediocre statements about Citizen Cake, therefore I’ve
always avoided it and it’s cousin restaurant ‘Orson’. But on a frigid day I
decided a little scone wouldn’t hurt.
A fancy dive in Laguna situated in a prime spot with a prime view, I thoroughly
enjoyed my lunch at Coyote Grill. The fish tacos were amazing. Packed with
meat and yummy goodness up top (see pic), it’s hard to pick up and stuff in
your mouth, but I polished off my plate and had the urge to lick it clean, but
that wouldn’t be very “Laguna” of me. The food was stellar.
My husband and I came across this place a few months ago when we were visiting
the area, and when we came back to Monterey, we knew we had to visit again. I
ordered one blueberry pancake and some oatmeal - the pancakes are HUGE, so if
you’re not starving one will probably suit you. I typically don’t order
pancakes for breakfast but these were just the best! Light, fluffy, and
slightly crispy on top.
Not often do I write reviews, but the service and product has made this our
favorite casual restaurant in the desert. They are very quick, but the fish
you order is always excellent and my husband and I can attest to the freshness
of their product, since we pick up our fresh fish and other seafood here
weekly. If you go, ask for Lanai, she will make you feel like you have been
going to the Fisherman’s Market for all your life and you are one of her
closest friends. And yes, you can have…
The ambiance is so relaxing, fun, and vibrant! Although the waiters mostly
speak spanish which I know nothing about, they are all super friendly and
patient. The live band, OMG, is so entertaining and fun.
Food was very good and the house Merlot was also quite good. Service was
excellent and even the manager was attentive. Definitely recommend this
restaurant for good food, great service and a nice, comfortable environment.
There’s a very particular kind of hangover where you’re not quite at the
sunglasses-indoors light-gives-me-a-headache state. You’re a little off, a
little weak, and the world just looks a little different, a little strange. The
light reflects differently off of familiar objects. It’s a Saturday morning
hangover, not the black agony of a Sunday morning.
Neptune’s Net also allows you to have Mexico Coca-Cola, not that fake corn
syrup crap, but that authentic real sugar cane deliciousness. I don’t know if
that is a common thing in Cali but sweet Jesus, nothing beats that great
authentic real sugar Coke taste.
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night, the place was packed but the staff
was prompt, polite and offered great service. The food was great, some of the
best I’ve had. The fried lobster was amazing!!! It was clear from the portions
and quality of meat, that they were not cutting corners.
This is my ultimate favorite restaurant to go eat at while visiting Old Town
San Diego. Outside in the front window you can watch the ladies make homemade
tortillas. There can sometimes be a wait depending on what time and day you eat
there but usually not too bad.
Beautiful ballpark nestled right in downtown San Diego a few blocks from the
gaslamp district. This place is truly a “park.” Grassy areas for picnicking
and watching the game for cheap are located just outside the stadium but inside
the park.
Fresh picks from the boats that regularly come in there at The H& M Landing
area. Lobster, fish, shrimp, WHATEVER…. It’s there, and IT’S GOOD.
This is paradise on Earth for anyone who loves animals as much as i do.
There is hardly any other place in the World like it.
Very pleasant place and I am glad this is a vegetarian restaurant. My lunch
-was AOKAY but the GF was not very happy with her soup and salad combo. I
went for the Portebello Sandwhich which was awesome.
The best! I have been going to this restaurant since 2002! My 50th birthday was
celebrated here and my partner and the staff made it an evening I will never
forget… Fabulous service… Outstanding food !
I don’t get how this is, but their burrito is one of my favorites in town. It’s
something about the fillings they put in it that just makes it so good. I know
this isn’t a mexican spot, but the burrito is super delicious.
If you’re not looking for a full lunch, come in here and grab a fresh loaf of
bread to take with you for picnic in wine country. I can never say enough good
things about this place and how reliable and friendly the service has been.
Hope you have the same experiences as I have had!
This carnivore who’s married to a vegetarian, typically hates vegetarian
restaurants. Well…till now that is. To be honest, I didn’t even know it was
a vegetarian place till I wanted to make sure that they have a veggie patty for
my Honey. The girl behind the counter informed me that it’s all vegetarian.
When I’m in town I always make it a must to stop @ the Marketplace. This plaza
is a one stop shop. You have the groceries, eateries, movie theater, and shops
(Sundance- my fav, Best Buy, Ross, Staples etc). On the weekends there is a
farmers market where my aunt gets veggies that you can’t usually find at your
local Albertsons.
How can I not give 5 stars to Hotel Congress? This place is the essence of
what’s good about Tucson. Quirky, hip, historical, a little rough around the
ages, a totally random mix of people that somehow ends up working. When in
doubt about where to go, the Hotel Congress will have something for you.
