The Best Thing I Ever Ate
I’ve been here several times and the food is always great! The menu changes
with the seasons, therefore always something new to try :) The raw oysters &
chilled shrimp are the best in the area.
I usually save four-star reviews for restaurants that are good, but not quite
worthy of five stars. I’m not sure what to give a restaurant that’s not quite
not quite five stars. In this case, I’ve decided to keep with four stars.
Lovely upscale restaurant in Lakeview! I started with grilled calamari, then
had a spinach salad with walnut vinaigrette. For my main dish I had bacon
wrapped filet which was FANTASTIC. So tender, perfectly cooked and flavorful.
Paired with Gorgonzola mashed potatoes- yum!
We really enjoyed our time here. We had friends visiting from Cali and wanted
to treat them to a meal inside the Encore casino. Originally the plan was to
try out Wazuzu, but the place was so packed we were looking at a 1⁄2 hour wait.
Lacking in any sort of patience, we opted to go right down the aisleway (just
past the Southside Bar) and check out the Society Cafe.
So while I went with the pierogies, most of my friends (and my husband) ended
up going with the meatloaf. I had a few bites from my husband’s plate… and oh
my god! I think their meatloaf de
The service was excellent, and let me tell you I’m serious about this, because
my boyfriend and I walked in, in our sweats. A lot of high end restaurants will
give you a funny look or dismiss you with mediocre service, but not this one.
One interesting note was that they get their flowers (that are always fresh in
the middle of the table) delivery everyday from San Francisco…pretty flower
but I think it’s a bit over-the-top.
Valet parking, ambiance, decor, great food, great drinks, wonderful service,
it’s all blah blah blah…blah…(once you get the white truffle pasta).
This place is a my absolute favorite restaurant in all of San Diego! My husband
and I come here for any and all excuses we can come up with, as the food is
consistently amazing, creative, and leaves you feeling healthy and energized.
They are very accomodating for special diets, as I’m allergic to gluten, and my
husband is Vegan.
Why did it take so long for me to come here is beyond comprehension. The one
consolation I have is that I finally made it, and although a bit sad, I feel
honored to have been here on its final night.
Now if you get sticker shock, this may not be the place for you. But if you
don’t mind paying a lot for a good meal, you have to try this (don’t forget the
shrimp cocktail sauce).
Please stop in and check us out!!! Join us for lots of fun, entertainment on

After hearing a lot of buzz around this place, I decided to pay a visit the
Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. Upstairs, the space is well laid out, and
an intimate space, great for an early or late night meal. I chose to sit at
that bar; the bartender was incredibly attentive, and the drinks were well made
(aka STRONG), well worth the price.
I always get the DELICIOUS Poached Egg Salad! The light sweet dressing makes
the frisee so yummy! (Odd, huh?!)
Maybe i missed something that the other reviewers didn’t, but where does it say
it is a Jewish Deli.!? (or kosher anything)
I am always on the hunt for the perfect cheezy beef and Boston’s is the full
deal: great sammies, great price, clean, super fast and super friendly.
Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Everything from the bread they serve to the meals are
delicious! I stuffed my face with their onion bread they served first. I didn’t
realize I should have saved room for my meal.
Seeing the line as I walked in made me scared that I had walked into a tourist
trap - mediocre food, confused tourists, and annoyed cashiers.
We decided to check this place out on a Saturday night, and it was slightly
cool outside but we decided to sit outside on the patio. It was really nice out
and not overly crowded.
Wow! I have to admit- THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST EFFING CHEESECAKE EVER! If I had
to choose one word to describe their strawberry cheesecake, it would be
HEAVENLY! Definitely worth the 220 mile drive from Boston to Brooklyn!
When I travel, I love to experience the culture, food and people of the
destination I’m visiting. Prior to arriving on Hawai’i’s Big Island, I scouted
out some hole-in-the-wall food stops and Super J’s fits that description to a
