The Best Thing I Ever Ate
Happy Bday to me! A friend took me and the family along to indulge ourselves
into this exquisite experience of…OMG delicious eats. I really was begging
them to stop because I couldn’t eat any more food.
Stopped in here after 7hrs on the road. Situated on the bay, it’s ideal for
chowing on just about any seafood. I recommend any of the whole lobster
plates. You’ll still be hungry afterwards, but you will know the standard for
our beloved crustacean delicacy. Even the shrimp plate was sweet - fat and
fresh pieces of great seafood.
Ok, the location is a little seedy and crummy, not a neighbourhood I want to
visit a lot. Parking is indoor next to a hotel, kind of creepy, can’t imagine
how it is at night. We just wanted to quickly park, quickly eat, and quickly
ciao.
This is not a typical Mexican restaurant so if you’re looking for Americanized
dishes, Zarela isn’t for you. On the other hand, as a vegetarian I didn’t find
this place authentic-in-a-scary way, if you know what I mean.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Phoenix, even though I don’t get
over here as often as I’d like.
I was in town for a wedding a couple of weekends ago and, after researching the
area, my fiance and I made sure this place was our first stop for lunch. We
weren’t disappointed! To start off, we decided to share a large Jenny’s Fix
(pastrami sandwich) on italian bread.
Had a blast here for Oktoberfest dinner - and Zum Stammtisch does it hardcore!
I had eaten here before so I knew the food was going to be good, but this night
they absolutely blew us away. From beginning to end, was non-stop food, beer,
song, and out right Munich madness!
I’m always satisfied when I go to Luna Park! I went this past Sunday and was
able to enjoy their bottomless mimosas and brunch for 50% off. Apparently if
you sign up for their newsletter, they send out promotions here and there. This
past Sunday, if you wore a hat, you got 50% off on food. I had their
chilaquilles and my bf had a complete breakfast that included eggs, pancakes,
etc. etc
This was our first trip to Charleston, and it took me quite a long time to
decide on which restaurant to go to our first night. Using Yelp as a guide, my
decision brought us to Magnolia’s for dinner. When my husband and I travel, we
do not go to chain restaurants, we try to go where the locals dine and take all
reviews with a grain of salt, because every restaurant can have an off night!
So I was in here over the weekend w/ my kids picking up some Roast Beef and
Salami Sando’s and the guys start selling me on the Eggplant Special.
Fantastic restaurant on the North Shore! When I knew we were going to Maui I
immediately made a reservation for Mamas. I’ve heard nothing but great things
from friends who had already dined there and knew I had to check it out. Be
sure to make a reservation - #1 to guarantee a spot, #2 - we booked for early
in the afternoon and I think the reservation helped get us a prime table by the
window where we had a great view of the water and even saw an informal wedding
ceremony.
Ono-licious musubis! go early though since they have a limited #. 10 musubis
cost $17. Tried the beef sukiyaki and vegetarian curry pilaf one and they
were great as a snack. must return to try other flavors. One thing i noticed
was that the rice was just right, soft and delicious.
Big fan! Quesadillas are the best thing, I think. Burritos are a great size.
About the same price as chipotle but tastes slightly more authentic (eh,
barely).
I love the old school cafeteria style and the honor system where you pay on
your way out the door. This is definitely a no-frill, old school place that’s
all about the food.
And my most recent experience…Nice. Very nice. In fact, i feel like coming
here every time i drive back from a trip to San Fran.
Have you ever tried to find a delicious affordable meal on the Cape? Well look
no further.
Marshland was incredibly delicious, and two of us ate for under $20.
My date and I decided to eat dinner here in addition to the dessert, and I
can’t say we were disappointed. I ordered a cheesy type of pizza and can safely
say it was the best pizza i’d ever had ! The crust was thin, but the pizza was
delicious. It was light and flavorful, which is why I could eat almost the
entire thing by myself.
We love this place. the food is delicious and unusual. The atmosphere upscale,
comfortable and casual. When the weather cooperates the outside seating is the
best. Parking is a bit limited.
By that rubric I know which places win when you are looking for something to
eat in Jackson. The food isn’t even worth the wait. But I am very impatient, I
would rather get Taco Bell now than wait thirty minutes for a table at a fancy
steak place.
Without a doubt, these are the best pickles ever. I can’t put my finger on
exactly why they are better than the rest, but trust me- they are. I bought
some at Smorgasburg in Brooklyn, then tracked down some more in Whole Foods in
NJ. I think they are seasonal, though. Now I see you can order them from
Amazon, too.
