United States of Bacon
Service is mostly solid, and the guy that chased down the crow who stole some
chips (the crow gave the chips back) - hilarious. He moved the 4⁄4.5 rating to
a solid 5.
First off, whoever said they don’t post prices, is not reviewing this place,
the pricing board looks like it has been here since the dinosaurs were ordering
cave burgers. If you miss that lit up board, they have a printed pricing menu
hanging up with a description of each burger.
Went for the first time today. Kitchen was just wrapping up a re-model, but
they extended happy hour to accommodate and the food was pretty darn good.
Industry Public House combines American comfort cuisine, artisanal cocktails
and craft beer in a vintage-industrial inspired space. Upon entering you’re
visually drawn to the prohibition era style of architecture with modern-day
accents.
So much food I had to get half of my sandwich and a good handful of fries to
go! It took me and my friend a good ten minutes just to decide what we were
going to eat, the menu is amazing and sandwiches are one of my favorite foods.
I settled on the Bahn Mi because I both love meatballs and Siracha mayo sounded
too good to pass down - I was not disappointed! So, so tasty and moist and just
everything I could ever hope for. We to the one downtown, a gorgeous location.
Welcome to Penn Brewery, where our craft beers, homemade fare, and historic
setting tell the story of Pittsburgh’s European immigrant heritage.
Welcome to our restaurant. My name is Zachary Winghart, and I am a Pittsburgh
native who trained at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute not three blocks from
our Market Square location. After school I traveled the country, experiencing
all types of cuisine.
After giving the GF’s brother and cousin a cold, blistering tour of
Philadelphia’s historical sites, we had to stop for a cheese steak. Would we go
to Jim’s? Pat’s? Geno’s? No thanks. I knew if there was any place that could
redeem Philadelphia by providing a decent Philly’s Best type cheese steak - it
would be Jake’s Sandwich Board.
This is a great bar to do some drinking, inside is kept clean at all times and
its all local people so there is usually never any trouble. They have a atm
machine some arcade games and a back seating area that is always open with a
dart board. They also have food that you would think would be gross but is
actually really good. So if your lookin for a chill spot without the loud music
and all the punks this is a good place to go.
I wanted to take my conservative homegurl to a conservative spot.
Bwahahaha….this ain’t even close.
SoWe has some great food at an OK bar. I came here for a late dinner on a
Friday night recently. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Brussel
Sprouts, Sweet Po Fries, Fish Tacos, and the SoWe Burger. The burger was
absolutely delicious, I would have to order it again. The fries that came with
the burger were great too.
I have been back a few times and on my last visit I noticed they added ribs. So
i had a pit beef there and took some ribs home. The pit beef sandwich was
freaking great, tender juicy flavorful medium rare beef piled high on soft
roll.
I have to echo the other reviewer’s comments–the draft beer was definitely a
work in-progress. I had Rick’s Red Ale and also tried the Rain Delay IPA, both
of which tasted far too sweet. I mentioned this to the bartender, who seemed
surprised at my opinion, but also mentioned that brewing does, of course, come
with tweaking and improvements over time.
The jalapeno poppers have good flavor but they have pureed the pork so it
lacks texture. The jalapeno was almost non-existent.
A truck completely devoted to bacon? Say it isn’t true. Ah, but it is. I’ve
tried a few offerings from Bacon Mania in the past few months and I have to say
that they do offer up some variety when it comes to bacon. Sure bacon wrapped
this & that is a novelty that might be played out but it still tastes good.
Unique local favorite that has maintained the same laidback vibe, good food and
superior service for over 50 years.
Everytime I come here, I order the maximus pulled pork (minus the bun) because
I mix it with the Beecher’s mac n cheese w/maximus sauce and eat it together! 2
Amazing items put together, you get an amazing taste!!
Really good BBQ is hard to find in So. Cal. It is nice to find this gem, It is
the real deal, not a chain restaurants idea of BBQ.
Every time I finish hiking in the Malibu area, I swing by Sweet Rose for a
treat! Each time I visit I try a different ice cream flavor, and so far,
they’ve all been amazing. Very unique flavors. If you’re the adventurous type
when it comes to food, I highly recommend this place.
Definitely the best butcher shop I’ve found in Washington. All of The Swinery’s
meat comes from local purveyors in Washington and Oregon (Carlton Farms, Tails
and Trotters, Painted Hills, etc.). The quality and freshness of their products
is as good as it gets, especially in West Seattle.
