Phil’s BBQ

I have been a loyal fan of Phil’s since I lived in Mission Hills eons ago. The food was wonderful then. I moved to the upstate of South Carolina for a couple of years, and returned to San Diego. Had BBQ in the South. Real BBQ - slow smoked in smokers….had ‘em in rual and urban cities. All were wonderful. Came back to San Diego, craved BBQ and realized..this is GRILLING. Pre cooked ribs, slathered with BBQ sauce at the end. So…I still give it three stars. Phil’s is still good, but….the South has the best BBQ hands down.
