Wow! A gem in San Miguel regional history’s crown! Find out about mining, Tel-ski resort development, Ute inhabitants, and Telluride town development.
Walk through a restored building to see the artifacts, browse it’s shop for well written books and gifts, or attend any of its many special events from Native American concerts to Town fireside chats about mining, and most recently in June 2009: a live re-enactment of the Butch Cassidy bank robbery - guns ablazing and a horse back getaway - right in the middle of town.
