NATE N AL

Five stars because of how this place has retained most of its 1945 charm, even in the middle of Beverly Hills. We had the New York and the Hollywood sandwiches. The New York came with hot pastrami, the Hollywood with hot corned beef, both with topped with cole slaw and Russian dressing on double rye bread. It also comes with pickles for the table. And we chose potato salad as our sides upon recommendation of the waitress. LOVED the pastrami sandwich and that potato salad was on point. It was more of a mustard potato salad and it was very delicious. The corned beef was very lean, so if that’s the kind of corned beef you like, then you’d like the Hollywood. I, however, like my corned beef to have some fat (and flavor) on it.
