Rum Boogie Cafe
Came here on a Tuesday night. A friend told me about this place and it was definitely worth the last stop of the night for me.Keep in mind that by the time I visited this place, I had already visited BB King’s (ribs) and Pig on Beale (pulled pork–they’re a Whole Hog world champ). I had heard about the Gator Gumbo so that’s what I ordered before the band started. Before any of you start to make scrunchy faces, let me tell you that if you enjoy blue crabs, you’ll love this gumbo. Being from DC, I’ve had plenty, I enjoy it, and thus, the gator gumbo gets thumbs up from me.
