Court Street Grocers

Clearly, the thing to get (for me, and you, too) at CSG are the sandwiches. Breakfast, Reuben, mother-in-law, Jawn, Cuban, turkey club, pork roll– these are my best friends, but my favoritest one is the mother-in-law. That beef and kimchee and the umami crunch of the roasted broccoli– I get it to relive the first instance I took a bite. And, yes, the turkey club is my second favoritest, it is also my hangover cure. I’d pay more than $12 to feel normal, some mornings. I’ve bought some baked goods from here, but they’re not memorable (or maybe there’s no room on the list as I haven’t accounted for other sandwiches); I haven’t explored the prepared foods menu.
