55 South

How did I forget to write this? I’m surprised by some of the low reviews, so I have to add my 2-cents.

We were in Franklin on a random Sunday, in search of nourishment. Yelp led me to 55 South, and I was not disappointed. I had the Pecan Pain Perdu, side of perfectly crispy bacon & cheese grits. It was, in a word, amazing. Everything was so delicious. We also had the house-made guacamole and it was great, too. I never expect much from guacamole because I’ve been spoiled by really, really good guacamole, but this was made perfectly.
