Rooster’s Roadhouse

Rooster’s, in a word, is righteous. I wasn’t expecting much from a place that looked like an overly glitzy chain BBQ joint, but I had the chopped brisket sandwhich and the meat was incredibly moist, tender, and flavorful. Their house BBQ sauce was well-spiced without overpowering the awesome meat, and the bread was all sorts of buttery grilled goodness. Plus they have some sort of greens-based relish that is a great fresh counterpoint to the heavy meat.
