I just ate here with a friend on a whim. I live right down the way but never
actually had the food before, although I have had drinks here many times.
PHNOMenal Penh place, Good food AND super cheap! What more can you ask for

One summer day, when you wake up with an unquenchable thirst for BIER (that’s
beer in Deutche) and a mysterious appetite for some scrumptious lamb kabobs,
just let your nose lead you and you will smell your way to this little
restaurant guarded by two Terracotta soldiers.
I heard of this by word of mouth and decided I needed a laugh - I was also
intrigued by the FREE BUFFET that was offered by Watts Coffee House! FREE!

We began in Evanston in 1975. In 1982, a contest was held among local
grade-school students to rename the restaurant. We’re still using the winning

THE FOOD
I ordered my all time favorite burger - the Patty Melt. I first fell in love
with this burger down the street at the Walgreen’s in Evergreen Plaza. Those
were the days when some Walgreen’s had a diner attached. But it was here where
I became addicted and I couldn’t wait to get my fix. My family order breakfast
items.

The beginnings of the hamburger sandwich as we all know it today was really
quite simple. One day in 1900, a gentleman hurriedly walked into Louis’ Lunch
and told proprietor Louis Lassen he was in a rush and wanted something he could
eat on the run. In an instant, Louis placed his own blend of ground steak
trimmings between two slices of toast and sent the gentleman on his way. And
so, the most recognizable American sandwich was born.

Back in 1912, the late Elmer “Doc” Dyer opened his own cafe and began to

Finding the perfect pizza is like finding the perfect ramen. Everybody has a
different idea of what is perfect. My preference is not oily, not overly
cheesy, a little salty, not overwhelmed with meats, dough light with air
pockets and chewy but firm either by fire or by design. In other words I’m
looking for an Italiano style pizza.
Service is mostly solid, and the guy that chased down the crow who stole some
chips (the crow gave the chips back) - hilarious. He moved the 4⁄4.5 rating to
a solid 5.
