Second trip to New Orleans and I was all about going back to Gumbo Shop. I had
been once before the last time I was there, for brunch and I remember the food
being really good.
Excellent spot for your late-night munchies after a night of clubbing in
downtown providence. Had the chili cheese fries and obligatory water. Extra
props to the cashier ringing us up who said she LOVED my t-shirt lol. It was a
customized tee from Chicago which said I heart My Galpals” Two thumbs up.
I guess I can’t really say that this place is a hidden gem any more, because it
gets busy like almost every night.
My work brings me to Ft Irwin maybe one or two times a year. I decided to take
a chance and eat at this restaurant. The trip is about 3 miles off US 15 but it
was really worth it.
I didn’t order my own meal but was able to get a feel for a lot of the
different foods that Jethros offers from scraps of my friends’ plates.
This is your classic diner experience. The waitresses are efficient and
sassy! The breakfast is very affordable priced and LARGE portions.
Wanna be the young person in a restaurant? Than head on over! Honestly you
won’t be disappointed. They have great food, solid, hearty German food. There
are many options and the are very accommodating to change the sides or what
not. I was really surprised but we have now gone there several times for lunch
and it’s been great. It’s like a hidden gem if you like German food. Plus you
will look young and vibrant! Who knew?
What I’ve Had: Brisket Sandwich on Brioche Bun - mashed sweet potatoes and
burnt end baked beans
Brunch open everyday? You had me there. It’s a disappointment how few places
are open mid-week for brunch. Don’t get me started RI. So this is such a
welcome spot.
I eat at the Blind Mule occasionally, and I’ve always had positive experiences.
I’m a pastor, and I’ve taken colleagues on several occasions (including all of
the pastors in my denomination along the AL and MS Gulf Coast) and everyone
enjoyed the food and the environs. There are options for many palates,
including healthy, various cuisines, and local. One of my favorites was a
California Burger special, that featured bean sprouts and avocado.
First time here: Muy bueno!!
The food program at BB&C revolves around local, organic, sustainable and
overall responsible procurement. The menu cycles are seasonal and heavily
influenced on production from the aeroponic roof-top tower garden.
Its a nice little neighborhood bar with pretty good food too.
I need to go back here again! I came on a whim and I gotta say, the service was
great and the food was awesome!
We formed a partnership, found a location, designed our bar, and opened our
doors. The Hideaway West , the best of the West Side! Thank you to all our
wonderful PATRONS!
I had been wanting to try this place for quite a while and finally did. Now,
despite waiting for a long time, I (smartly? stupidly?) went against the grain
and ordered one of their specials - the fried chicken lettuce wrap. It came
with their house-made kimchi and one other topping that eludes me now. I had
thought it would be the normal fried chicken, but it was their fried chicken
cut up and covered with a sweet Asian BBQ sauce. (Kind of like Crisp, in
Lakeview.) The flavor was great and I…
Isn’t a terrific feeling when you know upon entering a restaurant that you’re
in for a special evening. Well, this is precisely what happened when our party
of three was greeted by Greer, the owner of Mama’s Boy. Greer is more than the
owner. She is the spiritual leader of the place, its soul and inspiration.
Molly Maguire’s opened on March 15th, 2002. We were instantly recognized as
