Love this bar. You’ll probably come here once and think that it’s not for you,
or find yourself becoming a regular. I fall into the latter category (I was
crowned the “duke” on yelp after my visit last night if that tells you
anything).
Just looking for a place to have fun with my 16 year-old daughter in Austin.
She wanted to see 6th Street. And plenty of people tried to drag us into the
clubs until they saw that my super cute daughter was also super young.
This is a great little place in Old Town Alexandria. It doesn’t look like much
from the outside but the food is absolutely amazing. During the summer they
have an outdoor garden out back that is really pretty. The food is reasonably
priced and the service has been good each time we’ve been.
Vegans rejoice! There is FINALLY a buffet we can get our fill at. Their pasta
bar is entirely vegan - including spinach and artichoke ravioli and homemade
vegan sausages. All the vegan options are properly listed on the nameplates and
easy to see. Even their chocolate chip cookies are vegan!
Watch the colorful koi as they glide through the shimmering ponds. Listen to
the waterfalls as they cascade down the rocks. And feel the gentle breeze as it
makes its way through the lush garden. All while you indulge in Asian, Western
and Hawaiian cuisine favorites – like fresh Island sashimi and sushi, tender
prime rib of beef and delectable snow crab legs.
This is an awesome chill lounge to go to if you don’t want to go to the other
uber hip trendy, guest list only bar downstairs. This place has a bowling
alley, unique drinks, board games and a photo booth. Elegant, classy and
hidden. This is a gem amongst the uber trendy.
Came here for the dining experience, and what an amazing time. It’s different
than any other dinner and show I’ve been to, and it’s really by far my
favorite. After checking in, you’re greeted with a complimentary “welcome shot
“. You’re then told to wait in the bar, where you can order more drinks and
enjoy some horderves. There’s a few entertainers walking around that you can
snap photos with, men dressed in Victorian attire with face paint…
I like the atmosphere and set up of this buffet. My husband and I did not have
to wait too long to get a seat, and the service was always adequate. They have
few menu items that we both really enjoy, and then a couple that could use some
work (pizza.) When you get their brunch buffet, the food ranges from french
toast (YUM) to fish to beef to pasta to Asian fare to fruit to desserts. It’s a
wide variety, and both times I’ve been there I’ve been thrilled with my
selections.
Anyways, great atmosphere and decor. Cocktails are amazing and the bartenders
know what they are doing. They are professionals. Go to a bartender named
Francisco. He is so fast and precise with his skills, he is like a high skilled
assassin but at a bar. I gave him a taste preference and concocted me an orange
type drink. Great place!
Perhaps there’s just way too much expectations with this place or perhaps the
whole mentality going here is different with some than it is with others. First
off, this isn’t your normal dancing/club - it’s one gone full country. Line
dancing, cowboys and cow girls… Maybe even a few girl cows. Yeah, I’m
judging.
Living on the eastcoast and have done a lot of partying in NYC, lived in SoCal
for just about 3yrs and this place is hands down the best nightclub I’ve been
to in LA!!! Period!!! Ambiance = Fantastic, Staff = Excellent and Friendly
(which at a nightclub is unheard of), Drinks = Not too pricey but typcial for
LA, Cover Charge = Love the fact that guys & girls pay the same price to get in
(no special treatment). They have guy and girl dancers in the club, several
different locations…
Came here with a gilt city deal with 3 of my besties for an early graduation
dinner… From appetizers to dessert we were all please and satisfied. The
appetizer platter and dessert platter came with 4 different items… We each
got a entree and two drinks a piece the best one is the baseline. The food is
top-notch n will definitely come back with a deal!!
I had wanted to go for a really long time and I finally was able to find the
time. We went on a Friday around 6PM and were able to find an awesome table
outside. It was kind of windy, but nothing too bad.
We had a selection of sides (corn, cucumbers, plantains, cole slaw) and loved
them all, and I went with 3 tacos: portobella, chicken, and baja fish. To my
surprise, the chicken was by far my least favorite, to the extent that I would
not order it again, but the other two were so amazing that it had no effect on
my experience. I want to eat them right now.
I first found out about Dim and Den Sum food truck when I visited the Cleveland
Chow-Down food truck event in Tremont, OH.
I desperately scoured the internet for some place in Bangor with home style
cooking but didn’t imagine I would find something as great as Dysart’s. I am a
lover of beef liver so anywhere with liver on the menu immediately wins my
heart. Make it taste really good and include some healthy veggies, and I’m in
heaven. I am only in Bangor for a few days, but I hope to eat as many meals as
possible at Dysart’s - not kidding. The place was outstanding. If your nose
is high…
We had the fried pickles and the cubanphilly. Oh my, so delicious! I’m a big
fan of philly cheesesteak subs, and cubans are okay, so I wasn’t sure how I’d
like it, especially since it comes with salami. But I was quickly in love! It
doesn’t come with fries or anything (I suppose you can add them on) but did
have this creamy marinara (like a cross between marinara and creamed tomato
soup). It was delish. The sauce with the pickles was divine!
Shopping for your baby can be so overwhelming, but it was super easy and
actually a joy here at Beginnings! The owner, Pia, is SO sweet and
knowledgeable and the rest of the staff is also pretty well informed. Another
plus is that no one will pressure you to buy anything. They’ll answer your
questions, but give you the space to think it over and discuss with your
partner.
I found myself looking for a quick work lunch and heard about the truck being
in the area. I wanted the cone, but it was little old me, and it didn’t seem
office-friendly. I opted for a NY falafel pita. It was good, but a bit heavy on
the tahini and cabbage. The pita was so soft and yummy, I couldn’t finish it
all.
Finally made it out to Trailer Park’d for dinner tonight!! The trailer was
parked in Old Town tonight by the river. We were able to get our food and sit
on a picnic table by the water.
