We had to look for that place, it’s small, tucked away, and there’s no sign
apart from a little sticker on the window. But man was it worth it! The menu is
far from extensive, and we only got The Burger, but believe me, that’s all you
will need :)
The Journey Museum brings together four major prehistoric and historic
collections to tell the complete story of the Western Great Plains - from the
perspective of the Lakota people and the pioneers who shaped its past, to the
scientists who now study it. View video tour of the museum.
One of the best places in the city for a group that you don’t have a
reservation for (didn’t want to end this sentence in a preposition so I added
this parenthesis, take that Strunk & White). On more than one occasion I have
had a large group of people (10+) over at my house when we were deciding on
where to eat and The Parthenon wins a fair amount of the time.
Great people. Friendly shop. First time surfing. Took a lesson with my family
and these guys made our trip! Sean and Izzy were the best. Ended up surfing
every day. Thanks Sid!
Stumbled on this place on trip from Texas to Ohio. Wow, what a find. These
pies are outrageously good. Even the “sugar free” flavors were spectacular.
The blackbery was one of the best fruit pies I have ever had, fried or not. We
have returned just to get some pies for the freezer. Of course the pies are
best when eaten fresh but frozen and warmed in the oven is still pretty tasty
and that will have to do since I haven’t found any fried pies this tasty in the
DFW area.
“Possibly the best customer service we have ever received from any company-
hands down. The manager Jamie was wonderfully helpful with accommodating a
couple of our…”
Super great meat and 3. The wait staff is so nice and helpful. The food is
amazing. Have you ever tried corn poppers before? Well I havent and Im hooked!!
So good. If you are in the madison area for lunch this is the place to go.
Hands down dos diablos has some of the best mexican food I’ve ever had. In my
opinion, most mexican places have a small vegetarian menu, and the options
usually aren’t that great. I tried the veggie fajitas at dos diablos, and I’ve
been hooked ever since. The chicken enchiladas and the guac are also delicious.
Construction is underway for a restaurant that will offer fried desserts,
grilled sandwiches, specialized hot dogs, and at least 32 fountain sodas with
flavor shots. Those offerings will be among the specialties at Funnelicious,
which could open in May at 155 Augusta Street.
We had a very pleasant experience at Higgins. We made a reservation for a
weekend night and were immediately seated upon arriving. The atmosphere was
just “ok” nothing bad nothing wonderful. The area this place really stood apart
on was service. Begining to end the service was wonderful. From coat check, to
waiter to the guy who not only could recomend wines but could tell us every
detail about what we were drinking and the origins we were impressed.
My boyfriend and I usually like really modern hotels, but wanted the experience
of staying in Old San Juan and we LOVED this hotel so much we didn’t want to
leave. We adored it far more than the resort / modern place we stayed in
Condado (even though that was impeccable too!)
The question usually comes down to: Geno’s or Pat’s? Well, I am pleased to
tell you that you can stop rattling your brain over such a moronic
question. There’s no need to buy into this feud between dueling “quality” cheese
steak establishments. Screw which one’s better. Does it really matter when
neither of them make the best cheese steak in the city to begin with?
After giving the GF’s brother and cousin a cold, blistering tour of
Philadelphia’s historical sites, we had to stop for a cheese steak. Would we go
to Jim’s? Pat’s? Geno’s? No thanks. I knew if there was any place that could
redeem Philadelphia by providing a decent Philly’s Best type cheese steak - it
would be Jake’s Sandwich Board.
I’ve been to this McMenamins a number of times since it is just a block up from
where I live. But I have never been there during the day, for lunch. My
boyfriend and I wanted to go somewhere where we could sit outside since it was
such a nice day and we wanted to bring our puppy. This was the perfect place-
close to our house and outside seating with heat lamps (even though the sun was
shining, it was still Feburary and a little chilly.) The waitress brought out a
bowl of water for our…
This is a great bar to do some drinking, inside is kept clean at all times and
its all local people so there is usually never any trouble. They have a atm
machine some arcade games and a back seating area that is always open with a
dart board. They also have food that you would think would be gross but is
actually really good. So if your lookin for a chill spot without the loud music
and all the punks this is a good place to go.
This is definately the place to book your wedding reception, quincierra, or any
other party. They have ample party space for whatever your needs are, and kids
are also welcome.
I stayed here this weekend while doing the Pell Bridge Run and reserved the
room Priceline for $50…… so my expectations were not super high because it
was so cheap but if I was paying what some other reviewers paid for their rooms
I would not be thrilled! (more of a 3 star hotel…not 4)
Named after the unincorporated small West Texas town, Ozona Grill & Bar has an
award-winning patio that has become a home away from home in Dallas. Saturday
and Sunday, enjoy brunch and the Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary. Year after year
Ozonacontinues to offer a comfortable atmosphere along with a diverse menu of
homemade food, and a large selection of drinks; Ozona fulfills everyone’s
burning desire for a good ol’ time.
Yes, the quality of the performances at the Pentacle tends to be highly
variable. That’s because the actors, directors, techies, etc. are volunteers
working day jobs. Everything you see is a labor of love, and labors of love
have a tendency to turn into soppy messes. It’s the risk you take when you buy
a ticket - you might see something awesome, or you might see something lousy,
or you might see something that looks like an art school drop-out
self-combusted all over the stage. The…
I wanted to take my conservative homegurl to a conservative spot.
Bwahahaha….this ain’t even close.
