The Foggy Notion is a favorite local NOPO spot for drinks and food. There’s
always a nice rotation of specialty drinks which vary by season. The staff are
great, very friendly and personable. They have a small food menu but all the
food is always fresh and very tasty. They have the most delicious fresh
perogies on the menu…if you’re lucky enough to get ‘em before they’re sold
out each week.

Cool hangout, food is great (really missing those onion rings and jalapeño
poppers), and the bartenders are awesome. Never much liked waiting for the pool
table or ending up having to play doubles. Shuffle board was nice, but it’s a

Umeke’s was on the top of my list when we were planning our trip to the big
island, and let me tell you, they do not disappoint! They staff was so friendly
and actually let me sample every kind of poke before I settled on my favorites
and these were nice sized samples too! They were patient and very helpful.
After much anticipation of trying Valley, I will say this - it was fantastic.

been trying to make our way over there ever since and wish we wouldn’t have
waited so long!

entering our eyes were drawn to the lovely wall decorated with paper flowers
and “Wildflour” spelled out in a pendant. Such a cute place and the owner,
Abby, has an eye for detail. Now to talk about the desserts. Cookies, pastries,
cheesecake, cakes and cupcakes….oh my! I had the Cheesecake with blackberry
topping and my…

Way back in the 1937, the world was a much different place. Franklin Delano
Roosevelt was being sworn in for his second term, Mickey Mouse wasn’t quite
ready to celebrate his 10th birthday, and the United States was still
struggling through the Great Depression. Here in Ocean City, MD, things were
quite different as well. The town population had not quite reached 1000, there
was no bridge over the Chesapeake Bay to give tourists from Baltimore and
Washington DC easy access, and the inlet…
