Best fried scallops ever! Sea Swirl caught me completely by surprise. I never
would have though that this roadside ice cream shack would raise the bar so
high on all my future fried seafood experiences.
I loved this place so much. The views were amazing and the atmosphere was very
elegant. I had the banana flambe.. wow! Great presentation too. I will return
for sure.
My husband and I were invited out to eat with some friends to Tapas y Tintos on
a Friday night.
Taverna Opa is one of my boyfriend favorite places. He is of middle eastern
decent so this is his food of choice. He did the ordering. I do love hummus,
the yogurt with cucumber/pita bread, grape leaves, we had a combination plate
of meat (chicken, beef, lamb) and rice. Everything was delicious.
Excellent food awaits you. The Imli cooler has cardamom in it and is terrific.
The chicken bento box is great; this coming from a burger guy. The collection
of flavors and textures makes the meal a treat. The only drawback is the hunt
for a table at lunch time. The place can use a mystical gong too, to alert you
when your order is ready. Yelling out a number is too Five Guys-ish.
This place is really beautiful - simple, tasteful decor- I could live here! We
had a smack down room - huge and a stunning view through French doors, leading
to a private balcony with Adirondack chairs. The king size bed dominates the
room, which was fine with me, considering that my husband and I were on a
little holiday without our children ;^). The jacuzzi bath was delightful. We
missed the wine/cheese party; we had our own - enjoyed a spectacular sunset on
the balcony. Lots of…
This is a quintessential south beach, art deco, boutique hotel, right on the
beach. It feels like nothing has changed since art deco came in vogue, and it’s
still in vogue! The pool and grounds were and still are, an instant classic.
Unless you go to Equinox on the beach, you’re not likely to know about this
above-average, nay, awesome, smoothie joint. If you find yourself shuffling
your feet around 5th and Collins and the urge to suck down a creamy and healthy
fruity treat overwhelms, duck in through the Equinox door, bypass the reception
desk and head due left. The modest smoothie bar offers high protein, low fat
shakes and even freshly pressed juices packed with veggies and fruits.
Love this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. 6 of us stayed here
for a long weekend and it was fabulous. I am already looking at booking a
return visit.
I come here quite a bit, to the point where when certain servers see me come
in, they don’t even hand me a menu anymore since they know I’ll just order the
same thing. This is a fun local place with a delicious breakfast menu. They
also serve lunch and dinner, but since I haven’t experienced that yet, I’ll
just talk breakfast.
I don’t know why the bad reviews are here, but at least there’s only 2 so far.
This place was excellent for lunch - glad I ignored the ratings and just
strolled in. I had a delicious plate of pork goulash, served with sour cream,
sauerkraut, and homemade spaetzle. The spaetzle was fresh and crispy, and the
goulash was truly delicious. I ate every last bite, and got out of there for
under $20. Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s Aspen, so deal with it.
We do not eat from Denver to Aspen just so we can eat and be naughty here.
Margaritas, nachos, guac, enchiladas, burritos, and for the kicker, a brownie
ala mode. Delicious. Had a place on the patio to tie the dog up with a bowl
of water. She was happy people watching. This place is cheese, cheese and
more cheese Could smell the brownies baking and could not wait for them to be
ready. The were worth the wait. Woody’s is our best excuse for heading up to
Aspen.
I love the updated food menu at Wynkoop…..a pub with proper British pub food
wins my heart anytime.
I LOVE Cache Cache!! But realize it’s Aspen, people - anywhere you go it’s
going to be pricey and this place really is worth it.
The food was delicious. I was a bit adventurous and ordered the goat curry. I’m
glad I did! I was so fragrant and tasty. I had to be careful that I didn’t just
inhale the whole dish.
I also had a pof pof, which was fun too. It’s like a super-size cake donut hole
that tastes vaguely banana-like. Not too sweet, but really great.
Just had lunch here and it was delicious! I had the refreshing peach sun tea
and the Chicken Cordon Green. The green chile was very authentic New Mexican
and just spicy enough for my tastes - my nose was running but I could still
taste the rest of my food. Having just been to Santa Fe it seemed very close to
what they have there and actually even better than a couple of places we ate in
NM. I want to go back and try the guacamole, stew and the stuffed squash.
Place is great. Unpretentious, great french cuisine - at very fair prices.
The mussels are great - vivid flavors, quality shellfish and a wide variety of
styles to choose from. Service has been very attentive, friendly and
knowledgeable of the product. Just go.
There are 3 things in life that I truly enjoy: running, traveling and eating.
(Not necessarily in that order). So when I saw Martha Lou’s Kitchen mentioned
in an article on the Top Southern Restaurants in the U.S., I immediately signed
up for the Charleston Marathon.
Went here today and oh me oh my…what a treat! We did the AYCE thinking why
not try three for an additional 6 bucks or so. That was a challenge we failed
along with some of the dishes.
I love the food, but am often deterred by the line. I’m not a big fan of
standing up at the end of a long week waiting for a table, but if you can go
during an off-time, it’s a great experience. The food is FABULOUS. The pizzas
are like they make in Italy - simple and delicious. My favorite menu items are
the margarita pizza, the peppercorn steak and the gorgonzola gnocci. I love
these three menu items so much that I can’t seem to branch out into anything
else.
