Very pleasant place and I am glad this is a vegetarian restaurant. My lunch
-was AOKAY but the GF was not very happy with her soup and salad combo. I
went for the Portebello Sandwhich which was awesome.
The best! I have been going to this restaurant since 2002! My 50th birthday was
celebrated here and my partner and the staff made it an evening I will never
forget… Fabulous service… Outstanding food !
I don’t get how this is, but their burrito is one of my favorites in town. It’s
something about the fillings they put in it that just makes it so good. I know
this isn’t a mexican spot, but the burrito is super delicious.
If you’re not looking for a full lunch, come in here and grab a fresh loaf of
bread to take with you for picnic in wine country. I can never say enough good
things about this place and how reliable and friendly the service has been.
Hope you have the same experiences as I have had!
This carnivore who’s married to a vegetarian, typically hates vegetarian
restaurants. Well…till now that is. To be honest, I didn’t even know it was
a vegetarian place till I wanted to make sure that they have a veggie patty for
my Honey. The girl behind the counter informed me that it’s all vegetarian.
When I’m in town I always make it a must to stop @ the Marketplace. This plaza
is a one stop shop. You have the groceries, eateries, movie theater, and shops
(Sundance- my fav, Best Buy, Ross, Staples etc). On the weekends there is a
farmers market where my aunt gets veggies that you can’t usually find at your
local Albertsons.
How can I not give 5 stars to Hotel Congress? This place is the essence of
what’s good about Tucson. Quirky, hip, historical, a little rough around the
ages, a totally random mix of people that somehow ends up working. When in
doubt about where to go, the Hotel Congress will have something for you.
I love to go to this place and sit by the window and watch the otters, seals,
pelicans, etc.,… Most of all, I like the clam chowder bread bowl. I’ve had
other dishes, but I always go back to that. Maybe it’s the cheese melted on
top, who knows? Fish and chips is good most of the time, but once in a blue
moon, it’s not so fresh and crunchy.
The first time I went with my fiancé at the magic hour between lunch and dinner
where lunch prices were still being offered. I started with a margarita that
was not what I expected, but definitely delicious with a lot of fresh fruit. We
both got the chefs plates and were not disappointed. I can’t pick a favorite
because they were all good but maybe (just maybe) the tamale pie stuck out in
my mind. He could not stop raving about the food during the meal or for the
rest of the night.
I had the Filet Mignon and it was excellent. The waiter talked to us beyond
just getting our food and it was a pleasant experience.
This place has sentimental value for me, dating back to the old location. In
law school, when fine dining was a luxury, my friend and I would call ahead,
sit at the bar on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to get the mussel deal.
Expertly steamed mussels and a glass of wine for $10. It’s now $12.50, but,
hey, it’s still a good deal.
Geechee Girl was filmed for the Food Network hit show Diners, Drive-ins and
Dives with host Guy Fieri. We are thrilled to have been chosen and it was a
great experience. And for anyone who’s wondering, Guy is just as nice and just
as much fun as he seems on TV. As soon as we get an air date, we’ll let you
know.

I stayed in this wonderful property on my last visit to the area. The staff
was professional, attentive and extremely helpful. We loved the cabin like
room (espeically the outdoor cedar shower!)
What I like the most about Percy St is the ambiance and the side
dishes/appetizers.
We offer cool brews, smokin’ good food and an atmosphere that warms the soul
and cures what ales ya.
“There are 13 taps, ten of them on a specially-made ten-tap “T” which was
commissioned from a North Philadelphia metal working shop.
Where do you go on a drizzly sunday afternoon when in need of some drinks, food
and seats for friendly conversation? why not here?! In between brunch and
dinner they have a small break and menu change then the kitchen opens right
back up. In the meantime they keep serving drinks :)
Where outstanding “High Desert Cuisine” is combined with more than fifty years
of “Old West Tradition and Hospitality”. The Cowboy Club Grille was the first
of our dining rooms. Formerly the Oak Creek Tavern, it was the gathering place
for Sedona’s early settlers including the founding members of the Cowboy
Artists of America who organized the prestigious CAA in front of the fireplace
on June 23rd, 1965.
The most useful thing was the garden out in the front that told us what we had
seen in the Canyon on our hike with a description about the various plants.
