A truck completely devoted to bacon? Say it isn’t true. Ah, but it is. I’ve
tried a few offerings from Bacon Mania in the past few months and I have to say
that they do offer up some variety when it comes to bacon. Sure bacon wrapped
this & that is a novelty that might be played out but it still tastes good.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner here while on vacation. We went on a
Saturday night so we expected to wait. It was nice that they had bar specials
that were responsibly priced and we also enjoyed the peanuts that they have in
big barrels.
This place is country. I mean, run down, folding chairs and tables country. In
the middle of nowhere in Kentucky country. But good goddamn do they have the
best fried chicken I have ever had the pleasure of shoving into my face hole.
What’s worth repeating. This is a great restaurant to enjoy southern style
cooking at it finest. If you’re a fan of Colonel Sanders you’ll most likely
like this restaurant named for his wife. I recommend the all you can eat
chicken dinner. Not just because I enjoy the chicken but more for the soup,
salad, dinner rolls, and eight country style vegetables that are included in
the price of the dinner.
Unique local favorite that has maintained the same laidback vibe, good food and
superior service for over 50 years.
To me, Dinah’s is all about “Dutch Apple Pancakes”, Fried Chicken, and the
elderly. A fricken landmark in LA since the 50’s, I hadn’t dined here for
years (no, I wasn’t at their grand opening…I’m not THAT old). This past
Sunday, I couldn’t believe my eyes – this place was absolutely packed. Every
table was full, and a good 20 people waiting to be seated. Luckily, my family
party of 30 had reserved tables in the back room.
Been here for breakfast multiple times; I absolutely LOVE this place! It’s
your typical diner and they don’t offer anything too out-of-the-ordinary from
other diners, but this place just makes me happy. It’s such an awesome local
spot in DC and the perfect place to hit up in the morning after a long night of
revelry.
Luckily we made it in at the start of dinner service and were immediately
seated in the back. Little did I know what was about to ensue…
Enjoy our delicious dishes with the original Salvadoran flavor. From the
delicious pupusas, cheese, pork and turns up the best chicken breads with whole
Washington metropolitan area. Delicious ceviche and the best dishes of beef
fajitas, shrimp, chicken and mixed. Click here to view our menu.
Everytime I come here, I order the maximus pulled pork (minus the bun) because
I mix it with the Beecher’s mac n cheese w/maximus sauce and eat it together! 2
Amazing items put together, you get an amazing taste!!
Apparently hot fried chicken is the only thing Nashville can claim as its own
in terms of culinary items.
Really good BBQ is hard to find in So. Cal. It is nice to find this gem, It is
the real deal, not a chain restaurants idea of BBQ.
Every time I finish hiking in the Malibu area, I swing by Sweet Rose for a
treat! Each time I visit I try a different ice cream flavor, and so far,
they’ve all been amazing. Very unique flavors. If you’re the adventurous type
when it comes to food, I highly recommend this place.
I think the main reason I’ve waited a while to write this review is that it
feels like an epic task to adequately describe the feast for the senses I
experienced dining at The Source. I can’t even really compute some of the less
generous Yelp reviews, because the two times I’ve eaten at this restaurant the
service has been beyond reproach and every single dish I was served fell along
a continuum of garden-variety delicious to blow-your-mind exquisite.
Definitely the best butcher shop I’ve found in Washington. All of The Swinery’s
meat comes from local purveyors in Washington and Oregon (Carlton Farms, Tails
and Trotters, Painted Hills, etc.). The quality and freshness of their products
is as good as it gets, especially in West Seattle.
When the friends that I visited in Colorado over Thanksgiving asked if I was
interested in heading to the mountains last Saturday and grabbing lunch at Beau
Jo’s, I was elated! This has been my favourite pizza joint ever since I was a
kid, when we’d stop here for dinner to wait out the traffic on our way back
home to Denver from learning to ski at Winter Park with my mom and sister, or
later - on trips home from snowboarding at Copper.
Great Asian Fusion Pizza, plus other American dishes. It has been nationally
renowned in Huffingtonpost and other news publications, so you know it’s good!
Luckily I work a block away so Mulberry is always there when I need to satiate
my pizza craving. The place is kinda hidden between Pinkberry and California
Pita, and my coworker and I joke that their extra wide door is for people like
us who order and finish a whole box in one sitting.
This is my favorite pizza. The BEST I have ever eaten. The crust is closer to
pastry dough than bread dough, and the cheese is rich and delicious. Their
homemade sausage is flavorful and juicy.
Oh, my goodness. This place is incredible. Their caesar is delicious (but
could use a few more anchovies!), and their quail egg, white rose potato, and
guanciale pizza is completely out of this world. My husband and I eat a
*lot* of pizza, and enjoy it in its many styles, but we were blown away and
hadn’t encountered anything quite like it. Also, service was outstanding.
Friendly, accommodating, pressure-less. Wish we hadn’t failed to get our
server’s name.
