It was quite an experience. My friends and I had bought a Groupon to this
place a few months ago but we never found the time until last night. As I
called the restaurant to make reservations, we found out that we couldn’t sit
together if we wanted to use our Groupons. When we arrived, our server sat us
at adjoining tables so we could both use our Groupon!
Best breakfast EVER! The french toast was the best I have ever had and the
avocado and bacon eggs benedict was mouth watering! There was a couple things
about the order that were particular to me and the way I wanted the food, and
they made it perfect! Thanks guys!!!
Amazing. That is all you need to know. Make sure you try the sopa de chile
marron’. Phenomenal. Great service here, the bonus.
What can I say, I love the Big Apple Inn! I can’t get enough of the smokes (for
lunch) and the egg, cheese and sausage sandwiches (for breakfast). I tried the
ears a few times, but the consistency got me the last time. And somehow I
always manage to forget about the tamales. I need to order more tamales!
Acknowledged as soon as I came in. The guy at the register was great, explained
the menu in detail. He explained how I can save. I got the Shack Tastic
platter, and it was off the hook**** Made to order. shrimp was cooked a
little too much but either way it was great. I got it spicy and it was really
nice and hot like I like it.
Every few months, I find myself at King Plow for labs and such, and with only
an hour for lunch, I have to go somewhere nearby. By noon, my belly is usually
full of lots and lots of good coffee, my metabolism is through the roof, I’m
jittery, and desperate for food. I usually default to Yeah Burger, because
it’s delicious and close (though a little pricey for a quick lunch), but a
friend recommended Curly’s, so I decided to check it out.
I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have always been fully
satisfied from every aspect, taste, quantity, service and money. It is truly
the biggest bang for the buck. The grilled menu, like the malai chicken, mixed
grill, chicken tikka and chick boti are the best. In addition, their chicken
biryani delivers a great taste to their rice menu.
I took an Arizona native here because he had never heard of it before (gasp!)
even thought I believe it has several locations over Tempe-Scottsdale area. The
guy at the counter suggested I try any of the hot sandwiches as they, in his
opinion, have more flavor than the cold ones.
I always like to nibble on a little something when drinking my boozey martinis
and think their small plates are perfect—especially the ‘in jars’!! the
bartenders are knowledgeable and always provide great recommendations for
dranks!
Went here while visiting a friend, he said it was the place to go for ribs and
he was definitley right! We went on a friday night around 8pm, it was busy on
the inside. All the tables were full and there was live music. I ordered a half
rack of ribs with mac & cheese and baked beans. I also decided I had to try the
pecan pie.
I actually get their regular “Frank” with nothing more than ketchup, mustard
and onion and it is incredible! I can’t resist their corn dogs either, they’re
the best I’ve ever had. Their waffle fries are good and served with a sauce
I’ve been told is phenomenal although I’m not much for sauce on my fries.
THE BURGER!!!! That’s all you need to know about Holeman & Finch. My friends
and I showed up on a cold Sunday for brunch after a night of partying. One of
my friends raved about the food here. So I had to of course come here and see
for myself.
Do yourself a favor and pick up some pastries at one of the Farmer’s Markets
where The Little Tart is a regular vendor, or visit their bricks-n-mortar
location in Grant Park.
Came here for the first time for dinner with a big group from work. It wasn’t
crowded when we got there but it was pretty full by the end of the night,
especially for a Tuesday. The bar is located right by the front door so you
really can’t help but order a drink. I got the holiday punch but the bartenders
are very knowledgeable and will make you anything you ask. It was a little
heavy on the ginger, but grew on me.
They DO have an english menu, and had many dishes written in Chinese on the
walls. I would be interested in knowing whether everything on the walls is in
the English menu.
I was quite impressed with Octopus bar, partly because the environment is a
little bit high class and the menu always has something interesting to try.
Great, great local business. I eat here at least twice per month for breakfast.
Went today for lunch for the first time. Arrived at noon. Placed was packed,
which I was happy to see. I assume most people were still diving into
breakfast/brunch fare.
There is nothing I don’t like about St. Francis. It makes me feel good all over
and is one of the only restaurants I’d actually refer to as sexy. A chic and
cozy interior, fantastic music rotation and lovely beverage choices all of
which provide for a dark and steamy evening out whether it’s with the girls or
on a date.
Toronto has a lot of good restaurants, but I’ve always felt it lacking in
places that I feel compelled to recommend to someone visiting from out of town.
To put it another way, on my top 10 best restaurant meals ever, Toronto doesn’t
make an appearance for more than 2.
If you like shuffleboard, boxing, cornholing, ping pong, parallel bars,
shopping for antiques, Hamm’s beer, Shlitz, Old Style and Thrifty ice cream,
(whew) this is your place.
