The arepas here are incredible! I had asked one of my clients if he could point
me out to a good place for lunch and he referred me here. The previous location
of the same business, which happens to be only a block or two away, was on Food
Network’s TV show “Diners, Drive Ins and Dives,” which is usually a pretty
promising sign of a good restaurant.
Great food in the Fan district of Richmond, friendly atamosphere, great for VCU
students.
We were pleasantly surprised by the interior, and particularly liked the
paintings from a local artist that were everywhere.
The food is good, old, southern, American style. Staff is quite pleasant.
Open, airy, lots of windows, white decor makes it bright.
Hobo Breakfast, mixed hashed potatoes, meat, eggs and cheese. Very big and very
tasty.
After Daniel K. recommended this spot I had to try it. Any place that has 50
beers on tap is off to a good start, and Waddell’s did not disappoint. Many
great regional brews and a few craft beers, but I had to start with my favorite
brewery, Stone, having an IPA.
Decided to go back to Wallace Station for lunch today. Wow they do not
disappoint. I went for something different this time. The Bourbon Trail
Triple Crown. Turkey, bacon, cheddar and etc. on toasted wheat. It was so
huge that I had to cut it into smaller pieces just to eat and only ate half at
that. Served with a pickle and chips at $8.50 it was a bargain. I took the
other half home and I’ll have it for super.
It may look like a struggling outlet mall, but good things lie within. I
stopped by here with some friends on the way from Chicago to Detroit. It’s a
good pitstop on the road trip.
Best BLT ever. Tons of perfectly cooked bacon!! I have been told by the last
two people I went there with that their meatball sandwich was pretty amazing as
well. I just cant pull myself away from the BLT to try it myself though.
Diners, Drive In’s and Dives visited this place and featured it on an episode.
Great food. Great staff. I can see why triple d visited this place.
Really great find! We were in the Deerfield Beach area for business and looked
on all the various sites to find a great local dive, and, well, this is it!
Even though they are in the middle of all the beach traffic, when inside it
still seems like a quaint little dive. We love dives! The employees are
friendly, the food was great, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
After day 2 of having muddy fun at Lollapalooza we were starving, every place
in downtown was packed with people getting their grub on. We decided to find a
place that was not so much in downtown. Yelp to the rescue, we found this diner
right away, sure it was after 11:00pm and was a couple of blocks away, plus
going over a bridge but with the stellar reviews, photos and not to mention
everyone’s favorite TV chief and host Guy Fieri visited this place and even had
them on his show it must…
When you walk in, be ready to wait in line. In this case it’s a good thing
since looking at the menu can be somewhat overwhelming. They really do have a
lot to choose from, not only that you can smell that BBQ-!
First off, folks who come here need to realize that Willie Bird’s is a
tradition in Santa Rosa. It’s is old school as many reviewers note in a
disdainful manner. If your looking for something new and cutting edge please
don’t come here and then blast the place with a garbage review. Remember Guy’s
show is named Diners, Drive Inns and Dives…….. not your Next Trendy Flash
in the Pan.
Please keep in mind that I don’t eat real BBQ that often so I don’t have much
of a base to go off of; that having been said, I did enjoy Wilson’s. We
ordered the big platter with a variety of meat (St. Louis ribs, brisket,
sausage), all of which were great. The sauces were a bit of a letdown (nothing
special, just ok)…
Get the pulled pork and the brisket here. Those are the best things you can do
with yourself if you’re within a miles reach of this place.
This place gives everyone an opportunity to experience a great meal as well as
giving the kids experience to make it.
YJ’s has been my default choice for eats in midtown for nearly 15 years.
There is no big screen TV, no WiFi, and no customer relationship marketing at
the order counter. No loyalty program, no discount card, nor any spam email
originating from the place. YJ’s is stuck solidly in the mid to late 20th
century and is an oasis from the mind numbing technology that has taken over
the rest of the world.
This is the best restaurant in Las Vegas. Amazing vegetarian options, and a
really chill vibe. Free foosball. Killer ambiance. Cheap.
I had been avoiding Zest after encountering an…interesting combo of popcorn
and what I think might have been yogurt at Dig Indiana, but when I found myself
very hungry in Broad Ripple my fiance and I decided to give it a try.
