Innovative. Artistic. Thought-provoking. Surreal. Entertaining. All words used
to describe Chef Homaro Cantu’s moto, a Michelin-starred restaurant and
world-renowned leader in the post modern gastronomy movement. Equal parts chef
and inventor, Cantu challenges and transcends limiting culinary conventions
with Chef de Cuisine and moto partner, Chef Richard Farina. Guests who join us
for an evening in our dining room can expect the unexpected. We hope to offer
you an interactive, futuristic and…
I first came here for a bacon/beer tasting. Since then I am hooked. The tasting
was interesting, and they told you what parts of the pig was each cut, and why
they paired the beer with the bacon. I highly recommend the beer battered bacon
strips. It is one of my favorite things ever. This place is also known for the
bacon bomb challenge(5lbs of delicious meat wrapped in bacon in 45 minutes),
and I am currently training to tackle that beast. You can also just order it
and split it with friends.
Revolution Brewing is Chicago’s new hometown craft brewery. Our brewpub in
Logan Square is a bustling, neighborhood institution where friends and families
meet to enjoy the freshest beer in town. Opening our brewery has been a labor
of love. We think you can see that in everything we do ranging from the details
of our carved fists holding up our mahogany bar to the pungent hop aroma of our
Anti-Hero IPA to our creative dishes like our bacon-fat popcorn.
Justin and Katie Meddis were trying to plan how they could have their careers,
see each other and help make a difference. Justin is a chef and butcher, and
Katie a pastry chef. They decided to combine forces and open a meat & sweet
shop. Thus, the concept of Rose’s was born.

Tenaya Creek Brewery originally opened as Tenaya Creek Restaurant & Brewery in
November of 1999. Our food menu was fine dining with a great wine list and, of
course, the freshly brewed craft beer.
THE PARLOUR is downtown Durham’s handmade ice cream shop. Vanessa and Yoni
Mazuz (a.k.a Mrs. and Mr. Parlour) started out in 2011, making ice cream at The
Cookery, and serving it in Durham and the Triangle from a converted school bus.
The next year, we ran a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for our own
kitchen, and in April of 2013 we opened our permanent location downtown. Now we
employ two ice cream makers and a crew of scoopers.
Feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call with any questions, requests
or concerns. Come stop by our Fresh location and check out our daily specials!

Joe is too proud to change. He opened Italian Garden 15 years ago and he feels
his “authentic” hot table is top notch. But with cheesy Italian paraphernalia,
grotty old tiles and bland pastas and sandwiches, this space is more 90s
cafeteria than “Tavola Calda”. Restaurant Takeover is sending in chef Adam
Hynam-Smith and designer Paula Velez to break through to “Status-Quo Joe” and
make him realize his stubbornness is losing him money.
The story of 723 Whiskey Bravo begins with Skip & Victoria Moore. This Atlanta
couple fell in love with 30A, deciding it was the perfect spot to bring their
vision of a great neighborhood gathering place to life. Nowhere else in their
travels had they discovered a community that so aligned with their personal
ideals for thoughtful development.
Capt. Anderson’s restaurant is one of those rare “family” restaurants that not
only survives, but strengthens and improves through the years. The landmark
waterfront restaurant is celebrating its 47th anniversary in 2014, and every
year has witnessed remarkable growth without loss of quality.
Have a seat on our beautiful patio, sit back, relax, soak in the Florida sun
and enjoy the surroundings with one of our scrumptious specialty drinks. Stick
around for the “Cannon Blast” at sunset and help us welcome all the passing
boats with our “bell ringing”.
We are a casual restaurant, with a laid-back atmosphere. But, we are not just

exciting culinary trends. Featuring anything from vegetarian tasting menus to
upscale entrèes.
this place was called o’banions i believe, the show turned around the manager
who would drink a lot and yell at customers. it’s looking like the righted
things now.
I will be coming back for more for sure. Tried their cricket tostadillas, worm
larvae tacos and worms in ice cream dishes. All equally fantastic.
Friday Date NIght at Blue Koi! We got there a little early, maybe 5:30, and I’m
glad we did as this cozy place filled up quickly.
You know this place is legit when all Vietnamese parents are raving about the
Bun Bo Hue here instead of making remarks that they can cook it better.
Saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. We were going to
Nashville and decided to visit. We ate there during lunch (approx. 11:15 am)
Monday 12/23/13. It was very busy, but the service was outstanding and the
food was awesome. The ONLY issue was with a young girl who was working the
cash register. Upon checking out, I asked if they sold their T-shirts (I buy a
T-shirt at all of the restaurants that I LOVED to eat at). She said “yes, but
we don’t have a variety of…
