We stopped here for lunch while on vacation in Sante Fe. We’d just arrived, so
we were a little clueless as to where to go for a yummy meal. We knew, for
sure, that we wanted some supper-yummy new Mexican food. I checked out Yelp
and we schlepped on over to Casa Chimayo. It is outside the Plaza area and we
were walking, so we pretty much had no idea where we were going. We were
navigating, on foot, via Google Maps. I am so glad we stuck it out.

Solid and quite authentic American-Italian.
Ambience is … about what you get @ most East Coast and Great Lakes
American-Italian joints. This is the food of my youth, served up well.
All the crappy reviews complaining about the chairs or the AC? Who are you
people, go have a frozen meal out of a bag @ 0l1v3 G@rd3n. Seriously …
This food it pitch perfect.
Highly recommended if you are in the area.
I came here with a date because we were both craving some hot noodle soup on a
chilly Portland night. First off, this place is adorable! It’s a classic
Victorian house that was converted into a delicious Korean/Chinese restaurant.
We were sat on the second floor in this little room with an electric fireplace
for a little extra comfort.
This is by far my favorite place to eat in New Mexico. I now live in
Albuquerque and travel up to Santa Fe just to eat here. The food is so amazing
and well priced.
And I give this one….FULL HOUSE! Thank God, recently I had a lot to complain
about places I have been, and I like to be a happy camper when I bother to drag
myself out and spend money. (I am a bear at heart.) So, I like this place.
Originally it took me a while to snoop in, as I heard it was expensive and
filled with old people. (I have nothing at all against old people, but
sometimes I yearn for that youthful energy!)
Also it is no more expensive than Tommy’s but you get a load of…
Yum yum yum! We just moved into Brooklyn Heights and have been on a mission to
try all of the restaurants in our area. We’ve only made it to La Vara for
brunch but can’t wait to go for dinner.
I looked up a few places to eat in Albuquerque before I traveled there and
found this one! My friends and I had some trouble finding it, but were able to
finally find it based on one if the tips from another reviewer.
In Richmond on a work trip for a couple of nights - Pasture was recommended by
the folks at Marriott
I don’t understand when people say this is a small restaurant. This is a
regular sized restaurant. No, it’s not a two story PF Chang’s, but just a
normal restaurant.
Ray’s sells souse, sausage and head cheese and is available in many smaller
inner city grocey stores here in Cleveland. Their food tastes just like you
would expect. If you wait, you can often find their products on a BOGO deal
near the end of the week. Half-price sausage is not meant as gourmet fare.
I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed succotash yet.
Everything was really good. Brisket was tender, mac n cheese was a hit with the
kids. Wish we would have tried the caprese salad, it had slices of avocados on
it.
This. This is where we wish our metabolisms would let us eat brekkie Erry Day.
You will want to rush the doors on the weekends, this place starts filling up
at about 7.30, 8am. Once you’re in, though, you are treated to awesome service
from folks who know the menu like the back of their hand because they clearly
love what they’re serving.
I absolutely love this place! It has taken me some time, but I have finally
found the stands that I prefer and I couldn’t be happier. I can easily do 90%
of my shopping at the market and everything is always fresh, mostly local to
Ohio and some organic.
I’ve been to Torino’s twice now - once today and once two years ago - and both
times were a treat. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff are so warm
and welcoming that I feel like I’ve been invited into someone’s dining room in
Italy.
As usual, had the bbq french fries, which are always incredible…but this time
went away from their famous Polish Boy and went with the Louisiana Hot Sausage
with chili and onions…Gotta say, simply amazing!!
A group of us ate dinner last night at the new and improved Coach Lamp
restaurant on Vine street. This was the “after” presentation of Restaurant
Impossible with Robert Irvine. They created an entire new outdoor dining area
next to the building, which was beautiful, comfortable, and very clever. I
won’t go into the details of trying to dine as part of a TV shoot…suffice to
say that things went slowly. That’s what happens when you send 200 people into
a restaurant…
Saw the Food Network show. Enjoyed the remodel. Really liked the rubber ducky
idea for a free desert for marketing. Perhaps the rubber ducky and your
specialty food item on a t-shirt could add revenue and social connection to
support your legacy. Since I was able to visit your restaurant via TV and may
not ever go to Kokomo in person to taste the food, your story gave me the
opportunity to believe in second chances, admire the new space and new menu.
May your family be blessed with many more…
Def an upgraded restaurant in terms of service and good quality. Nice remodel
helped the openness greatly. Food was fabulous, even tho I just had breakfast.
But eggs Benedict is easy to mess up. Service is a lot more attentive then in
the past.
